  • That's more like it, Three Lego! Now sing us some Roger Whitaker, you sound just like him!

"I'm Gonna Leave 'Ol Durham Town" is my favorite!

  • I may have mis-spelled Whittaker when I uploaded Durham Town and Last Farewell, so if you put the titles in to my search box, you should find them

  • Great to see you playing an Eko ranger. I bought mine in 1973 and still love it. No one else seems to have heard of them. Cool song, too. Thanks.

  • Thanks. I use a 12-string EKO too.

  • Great one love this song and love your version.

    Kev

  • Thank you Kev. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed it.

  • Awesome, your voice works great for this song.

  • Thank you, it is nice to be appreciated.

  • Wow, very nice I must say! Great admiration for the performance I'll try it later and see how it goes. Thanks for it.

  • Thank you and good luck with your own efforts

  • I have great admiration for the speed at which you can produce a whole song. It takes me weeks to remember songs and chords such that I'd be half happy with it and might actually try recording it.. and then I make far too many mistakes during recording. Great stuff Tony.

  • Ah but you see, I cheat! I find the lyrics and if possible the chords (if not I work out my own) and print them so that I can read them as I sing. Then I begin to record it. If I am lucky, I may get through the whole song in one go, but more often than not it takes many tries before I am satisfied. It can be very frustrating, and that is why at times when I get near the end and make a mistake, I might leave it in.

  • I wouldn't worry about that though. From the video, I couldn't tell that you were reading music as you played. Very well done!
