If this had the entire Buu Saga as well, this would be the ultimate DBZ game. I love the music and the graphics the most in this game. Not a lot of people like the graphics in this game, but I think that it looks a lot better than the cell-shading they use in newer games.

The thing about DBZ games now is that I think the creators worry too much about graphics than the actual story and game play. Budokai 1 (and some other DBZ games) are the completely opposite. It's really just the more recent ones that have good graphics but bad game play.

Theres a flashback in the series where Goku is walking away to take a break, Gohan lying on the ground hurt from training, then Gohan stands up wanting to keep training, goes SSJ, then SSJ2, then normal and passes out. The flashback shows when Goku talks about Gohan having hidden powers at the Cell Games. (:

@Guergy No, it is a fun entertaining game that produces long gameplay, but dispite the lack of characters and effects such as charging, and beam strugle featured in B2, B1 is just as fun with good voices to match the anime, and detailed cutscenes that make it look like your watching DBZ. But since it only goes to the Cell saga, you can play as the villans to catch a taste of being of being the ruler of the universe. Over all Budokai 1 is a 7.8 IMO. If you want a good fighting dbz game pick this.
