wow. when i look at this and think of how my childhood was full of these kind of cartoons, ( i too had the glow in the dark finger puppet!) it's hard to understand why I became such a bad person. Maybe it was spending ages 3-6 fingering a worm?

When I was a kid I had Glo worm finger puppets. I never knew they would glow in the dark until one day I took them into a closet. I ran out, SOO excited saying "LOOK MOM!!! IT GLEW!!!

I had the original green Glo-Worm that came out in '82. It sat in the toy-box at my grandparents' house for YEARS and finally, about a year ago, I went to retrieve it, for nostalgia reasons, I found out my grandfather had thrown it into the furnace, along with all the other toys. Wish I'd gotten it back when I had the chance. : (

I had the original gloworm from like 1980 that you hugged and his face would glow, but he was all green, no sweater like in the cartoon. I slept with him every night! I totally remember this show it was great!

I had that one too. He wound up in a box, in my grandparents' basement, 500 miles away. This past March, I was hoping to get him back, only to discover that my grandfather had trashed the old toys. *sigh* There's always EBay I guess.

I had the original too. I also had the musical Glow Worm. I was a Glow Friends fanatic in grade school. I had the glow in the dark figurines, which I recently found when I visited my parents. I also watched the show every weekday afternoon.

The "Friends" weren't considered all that friendly because they took TV time from the "Little Ponies" that surpassed them. They should have had their own shows instead.

i vaguely remember this cartoon. but i really remember the toys. i had a yellow glo butterfly that i loved. the only problem with the show was that it came on very early in the morning which is probably why none of your friends remember it.
