I have the same guitar and it seems like the frets stick out from the fingerboard more than other guitars I've owned/played. Not really a problem but noticeable when sliding bar chords up and down the neck. Is this an SG thing?

I'm uploading a video of my baby now, it should be up by morning. Her names Christine, named after the car from the classic movie. She's a black SG. (2005) Just took her out the pawn shop off a loan I had got. I bought it brand new from the Guitar Center in L.A. in 05. She's my pride and joy.
