  • En route vers la meilleure époque de la musique..on the way to the best music decade....MORE FANTASTIC ´80´s music at my channel!!!!! Take a look...

  • Gil Jourdan est la ;-)

  • Kraftwerk may have pioneered this sound, but I listen to Telex's records a lot more often...

  • one of telex's best songs! and back with pics of tin tin, too!

  • one of telex's best songs!

  • Telex 4ever! The best band in the world! This music is so thoughtful.

  • TELEX is error of humor (be careful not music)

  • all belgian comics ;)

  • wow, i'm sorry , my condolenes to Marc's family. only , which one was Marc? shazam1059

  • Wow fabulous. I'm sad to hear Marc Moulin passed away from cancer :-(.

  • i first bought this as a cassette tape to christian my first boom box, and was blown away! if anyone knows of a cd, please let me know! thank you as always, shazam1059

  • I am impressed at how well they managed to key the tobacco smoke...

  • I love it!!

  • Belgium's finest exports, Tintin and Telex.

  • I love the music its so nice!

  • Surreal. And Lovely.

  • Saw these guys on TV as a 16 year old growing up in Avalon, 2107 Australia, 1979 when I purcashed ""Looking for Saint-Tropez"". I did not see any other albums from them here on general release.

  • Correct and incorrect. Moscow Disco was on the American Release of the Neurovision album. The American release had a couple of extra songs on it. Probably a good thing- it's the only album from Telex that was generally accessible here in the great 48. Or 50. Or maybe we'll invade someone tomorrow and make it 51. Hope so.

  • Holy cow an american Telex fan. Then again ZZ Top liked some of their songs too. "Exercise is good for you" was played on some of their tours.

I saw these guys a 5 year old kid on the Eurovision song contest and never forgot about them. 19 years later I read about them in a music magazine and bought the box set of their collected works.

    It's a small world alright.

  • @McLarenMercedes yeah, I'm a latecomer- but good songs these are indeed!

  • For Americans, I bought the mp3s for Neurovision CD from EMI Belgium last night via Paypal. Cool! Some of the American tunes are in French and Moscow Disco is missing (the American release had it).

  • Well, Moskow Diskow is on the "Looking for Saint-Tropez" album.

  • Excellent tube! A-t-on reedité "Neurovision" sur CD? J'aimerais avoir ça!

  • No words to describe how great Telex is. One can only listen.

    J'aime beaucoup ca.

  • saw them as a 5 year old kid on Eurovision

made a hell of an impression on me

  • @deadvolvo1

    Fuckin' A.

  • -Vraiment tres bon. J'aime enormement..

  • Comment removed

  • Marc moulin is the one on the left not the lead singer.

  • he died not long time ago!!

telex is so good! and its still good!!

    RIP

  • Which one is MARC, is he the one singing the lead on this and with the Beard or which is he??? thanks

  • Marc Moulin is the one without moustache or beard.

  • thanks.......I wish none of them had passed on. I also just found out another of my favorite artists passed, the lead singer of Heatwave. Johnnie Wilder Jr. I was so sad already and now this.

  • I LOVE THIS JAZZY vesrion I heard other versions but this is the one I fell in love with when I first heard it when I bought their album. GREAT WORK!!!! I used to always think that they were speaking French but this is GERMAN I am sure?

  • No, they are from Belgium, Brussels to specify where people speak both French and Dutch (namely, that's the purpose ...)

  • Non, c'est définitivement en français. A lot of languages are spoken in Brussels, but French is the lingua franca, the one that will always get you by when you're shopping. The song is about passing through places in France, but with Hergé's artwork the video couldn't be more Bruxellois.

  • RIP Marc, your contributions to music will be missed.

  • RIP Marc Moulin :-(

  • One of my alltime favourites to! I still have the old 33 t album, on wich the song is a delicious minute longer than this. Today Marc Moulin died of cancer. He was a genius and this group made revolutionary electronic music long before many others. Marc was also a very big jazzmusician, and created in the late seventies the very popular Brussels weekendradio Radio Cité, wich everybody in both sides of the country listened to. Thank you, monsieur Moulin. I loved nearly everything you did...

  • One of my all time favorites, please someone post lyrics!!!

  • Never seen this video before! Thanks for uploading yaoyasan!

  • One of the best Telex songs from the 1980 album Neurovision.

A big hit in 1980 in Quebec (Canada) from that Belgium group.

  • what comic series is that behind them?

  • Spirou et Fantasio (Robbedoes en Kwabbernoot) and Tintin (Kuifje).

  • "Spirou et Fantasio" by Franquin

    "Gaston" by Franquin

"Blake et Mortimer" by EP Jacobs

    "Tintin" by Hergé

    "Gil Jourdan" by Tilleux

  • No dancing.

    No suggestive moves.

    No skin.

    No color on the performers.

    Just standing around lip-syncing

    Smoking a cigar.

    Gawd, this is great! :)

  • I've seen some Telex-Videos brought to Youtube by Yaoyasan. For example En Route and We are all getting old. My question is: Are they VHS Rips from a Telex VHS or what?

  • I don't know, but the broken band across the bottom says VCR to me.

  • OK! I've got an idea for the European Union and maybe I can come down to Belgium and that would be a chance for me to get some Telex Records and stuff.

  • NOT Technopop. Synthpop

  • Electropop! ;)

  • Very clearly synthpop.

  • Great...from Belgium of course!
