i first bought this as a cassette tape to christian my first boom box, and was blown away! if anyone knows of a cd, please let me know! thank you as always, shazam1059
Saw these guys on TV as a 16 year old growing up in Avalon, 2107 Australia, 1979 when I purcashed ""Looking for Saint-Tropez"". I did not see any other albums from them here on general release.
Correct and incorrect. Moscow Disco was on the American Release of the Neurovision album. The American release had a couple of extra songs on it. Probably a good thing- it's the only album from Telex that was generally accessible here in the great 48. Or 50. Or maybe we'll invade someone tomorrow and make it 51. Hope so.
Holy cow an american Telex fan. Then again ZZ Top liked some of their songs too. "Exercise is good for you" was played on some of their tours.
I saw these guys a 5 year old kid on the Eurovision song contest and never forgot about them. 19 years later I read about them in a music magazine and bought the box set of their collected works.
For Americans, I bought the mp3s for Neurovision CD from EMI Belgium last night via Paypal. Cool! Some of the American tunes are in French and Moscow Disco is missing (the American release had it).
Merci à toi, Marc, d'avoir laissé de si belles chansons en nos mémoires. Celle-ci fait partie des classiques de mon juke-box mental. Merci d'avoir posté ce clip, jamais revu depuis environ 25 ans.
thanks.......I wish none of them had passed on. I also just found out another of my favorite artists passed, the lead singer of Heatwave. Johnnie Wilder Jr. I was so sad already and now this.
I LOVE THIS JAZZY vesrion I heard other versions but this is the one I fell in love with when I first heard it when I bought their album. GREAT WORK!!!! I used to always think that they were speaking French but this is GERMAN I am sure?
Non, c'est définitivement en français. A lot of languages are spoken in Brussels, but French is the lingua franca, the one that will always get you by when you're shopping. The song is about passing through places in France, but with Hergé's artwork the video couldn't be more Bruxellois.
One of my alltime favourites to! I still have the old 33 t album, on wich the song is a delicious minute longer than this. Today Marc Moulin died of cancer. He was a genius and this group made revolutionary electronic music long before many others. Marc was also a very big jazzmusician, and created in the late seventies the very popular Brussels weekendradio Radio Cité, wich everybody in both sides of the country listened to. Thank you, monsieur Moulin. I loved nearly everything you did...
I've seen some Telex-Videos brought to Youtube by Yaoyasan. For example En Route and We are all getting old. My question is: Are they VHS Rips from a Telex VHS or what?
OK! I've got an idea for the European Union and maybe I can come down to Belgium and that would be a chance for me to get some Telex Records and stuff.
En route vers la meilleure époque de la musique..on the way to the best music decade....MORE FANTASTIC ´80´s music at my channel!!!!! Take a look...

No, they are from Belgium, Brussels to specify where people speak both French and Dutch (namely, that's the purpose ...)

No dancing.
No suggestive moves.
No skin.
No color on the performers.
Just standing around lip-syncing
Smoking a cigar.
Gawd, this is great! :)
