what about the responsible breeders who seek only to better the breed, and who raise the puppies and kittens in their own home? Would you protest them? Besides, there is nothing wrong with getting a puppy from a pet store. I got my golden doodle from one, and lo and behold 3.5 years later, he's happy and healthy and a complete momma's boy.

YEAH!!!! good for you guys. you inspire me. keep up the great work. puppy mills are truly horrible, and i only wish that more people knew about them and knew about the amazing animals you can get from shelters. tell me if there is anything i can ever do to help :)

Thanks everyone to coming out every weekend, giving up lunches & shopping to help the dogs & cats still suffering in mills. The only way to shut them down is DON'T BUY, ADOPT. Don't even walk into a store that sells puppies. The tide is turning.
