This is one of my Mom's favorite songs. I had been teaching it to my grandchildren so they could sing it for "GG" (Great Grandmom). My daughter was in church with her little girl, as this was played as an instrumental for the offering. Suddenly, my beautufl three year old grand daughter started belting out the lyrics....all alone.. and to the amazement of everyone. "Keep me safe, till the storm passes by." It brought a lot of smiles as she sang alone and without any shyness. What a blessing.

I remember when I was 15 at my Papaw's church there was this lady there said that she had brain cancer and doctors gave her 2 weeks to live. Well, my grandpappy and others all laid hands on her one sunday before this special one. It was time to testify and OH PRAISE JESUS! She said the doctors couldnt find that cancer that she was perfectly fine. God will keep us safe until that storm passes by if we just believe and call on his name, and hand over our problems to him.

I remember when my son was so sick, the Doctors didn't give much hope! He lay in a coma with encephelitis. They said "We don't know what else to do" "We can only hope" "This may be as good as EVER gets" But quess what, his mother and I spoke with the great physician and few minutes later he awoke and said I love you momma and love you daddy and that afternoon he was out of intensive care and two weeks later he was home like nothing ever happened!

she had cancer, heart disease, she almost lost her first child and nearly died in the process hersel. fand as far as her and howards time pastoring, they dealt with being broke most of the time and just trying to make ends meet, serious spiritual warfare, and at one point while they were gone the associate pastor (who was supposed to be watching the church for them) decided to take over the church and move it down the street. then there were family problems some with rusty, howards brother.
