Denny Oliver's new band are playing in the Marquis bar in Shettleston every sunday I think it is and La Cala bar in Alexandra parade every friday.They do all the old scheme songs and some new songs too and some good covers.they're Sounding excellent.

he grew up in easterhouse if you no him write back the reason i am doing this is if there are any his old pals on this he knew the hole band personaly and he was a good pal of denny oliver so i though you might no him :) thanks
Stumbled upon this documentary by accident. What a great story and a great band. I was about 19 when this was filmed, and it brings back my own memories of fear and frustration from the Reagan-Thatcher days, as well as the economic decay of cities like Glasgow and my hometown in the American "Rust Belt." Love the spirit and the music of this band!
The Annotation at the top of the screen to see what Rab is up to these days stays on FAR too long and ruins the videos
