Is this some kind of joke, Photek remixing Gwen Stefani??? I can't imagine many of her fanbase would have heard of Photek nor imagine many of Photek's fans would listen to commerical pop. Which is what this remix is... It doesn't sound like Photek, thats for sure!

2) Dnb isnt techno.

3) This remix is pretty crappy by Photek standards, but listening to the horrendous original he really didnt have much to work with.

4) Think before you type, it might stop that whole "pointing and laughing" thing people tend to do whenever you walk by.

AS MUCH AS I WISH D&B WASNT WRAPPED IN WITH TECHNO, it is electronically produced, and it does have all the same live aspects of techno....unless its done acoustically. which im actually working on doing right now...

@MOllySixxxCA ok but as far as heavey basslines what do you say about all forms of electro, club, house, trance,.and basically all sub genres of techno(with some exceptinos0. do not all of those have heavey basslines? in fact alot of todays electro is dubstpe based and uses heavey wobble bass and even somtimes has the use of ghost beats, which are the ambiance of drum and bass. and as far as tempos go what of hardcore, speedcore, terrorcore and extratone?

2.) DnB isn't techno, and this remix isn't DnB, it's electro, so DnB is kinda off the table.

3.) Crappy? You don't hear him sampling The Cure? DnB purists are kinda lame. I think this remix, for the genre, demonstrates the fact that Rupert Parkes dominates any genre, whenever he puts his skills to it. To say this is crappy just shows your inexperience with anything related to electronica.

4.) Research, then post.
