That would be the main character, Ichigo. One night his family is attacked by a Hollow, a type of monster, and he has to become a soul reaper to defeat it. He gets his powers from a soul reaper named Rukia, who loses her powers because of the incident. Eventually, she gets captured and taken to "Soul Society," where all the soul reapers come from. This video is about two of those soul reapers, Hinamori and Hitsugaya.

She was in love with Aizen to the point of idolization. To the point where a betrayal shocked her to the point that she couldn't believe it. In the manga, after he stabs her, she says, "It can't be..." This phrase shows her thoughts perfectly; she simply can't bring herself to believe that Aizen, who she loved, who she idolized, her hero, is evil.

She's being selfish... well, that's true. But it's also true that's it's natural to be selfish, and that not being selfish in this sense would require Hinamori to be a superhuman - which she is, physically, but psychologically she is not, and it's unrealistic that she would be.
