  • That`s right!

  • Tolles Tempo

  • This really is a special piece of film and a great study for so many reasons. For motorheads and audio guys there's the endless probing over how the Ferrari's sounds were recorded and then dubbed in sync (did you notice the reverb at 3:38?). There's the logistical question of how much of the route was planned and how much was improvised as a result of pedestrian/vehicular traffic. There's the ethical question of "Should he have done this at all??". And the surprise ending always makes me smile!

  • When he goes into the suburbs, you can't see diddly cause the headlights are too dim.

  • hydropneumatic suspension!

  • snow patrol - open your eyes

  • Ah la belle époque!!! Mais tout ça c'est fini ah lalalala !!!

  • It's like ghost rider, but slow and boring.

  • the audio dub is terrible lol

  • Booring

  • cool

  • De nos jours on ne pourrait que réver de ceci...

  • watching this at the age of 4... Changed my life

  • Para quem gosta de velocidade e quer passear em Paris.

  • A very nice movie. If you look carefully, you can actually see, that he is not driving that fast at all. Note how long it takes to overtake slow cars such as some 2CV or a Renault 4. The low camera angle and the dubbed sound of the Ferrari give an impression of much higher speed.

He is still passing red lights in the dozens...

  • @Versuch15 that is true!

  • @Versuch15 he was driving really fast, the first time I saw it with music (didn't hear the car sound): if you look at the strips you can realise how fast he was going

  • @hrgiyzueghe i'm searching the one with the music , please tell me the name of the video :(

  • @ekoz91 the name is ''etienne de crecy- fast track''

  • @hrgiyzueghe or you can measure it - 2 kilometers of Champs-Élysées took him about 1 minute, thats 120 km/h. Looking at the pedestrians, the film does not look sped up.

  • Thank you for uploading such a good quality version of this! :) It has to be one of my favorite films of all time! :)

  • It was just like a scene out of Ronin, only without all the HK gun porn.

  • I think it is a GTB well I hope it is because it would make it better

  • Recent claims made by the director himself, however, suggest he drove his own Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 in the film and dubbed the sound effects of a Ferrari 275GTB

  • Interesting side line >> According to Wiki's data on Lelouch, he was arrested after his 1976 film, C'était un rendez-vous (above), featuring a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 being illegally driven at high speed through the streets of Paris, was first shown publicly.[
