Midngiht Club had more polish and visual prowess than Nfs at release.

The only thing that made undercover sell was fanboyism.

And the only thing that made Shift sell was fanboyism AND people are gullible and will believe anything, such as thinking that shift was even close to being "realistic".

I'm pretty sure they are unlocked by gaining rep. You have to buy them with the money you earn though.

If you press BACK or SELECT look in the top left hand corner and below the rep points there is a car rank system. After (I think) each 9 races you unlock parts for each type of car. e.g. Muscle, Tuner and Exotic ETC.

I haven't played GRID, but I get what you mean. Remember, this isn't supposed to be a simulator though. This is just a street racing game. It doesn't take the fun out of it at all.

It's much better longer and challenging then NFS and other ones. Also multiplayer and singleplayer are much more fun. And GPS and map is excellent. I bought it and didn't regret :D
