Great instincts to make that call. A good amount of time when someone out of position makes an all-in bet on the river is usually making a desperation move to get people off the pot. If JC really had a winning hand, JC would have value bet the river in hopes that Phil would come over the top.

@HoopiesGoThrough yea but it was obvious it wasnt a flush or he would not have raised the flop, bet the turn and bet the river.. the way i see it is it could only be a bluff because if you had the hand you would want to trap your opponent not try and push him off his hand and make him fold...

@mikeaprice09 trap with a hand that hasn't been made yet? You normally would bet, or raise with a flush draw, especially if you think the opponent is week. There is no guarantee you're going to hit your flush.

@Xxdom4073xX why would you RAISE with a flush draw.. alot of players would flat call and hope it hits and if not and the bet is too much they fold on the turn but try and get to see a river to hit it..

Great instincts to make that call. A good amount of time when someone out of position makes an all-in bet on the river is usually making a desperation move to get people off the pot. If JC really had a winning hand, JC would have value bet the river in hopes that Phil would come over the top.
