  • "my instincts said 'if you fold you lose'"

thats kind of the point of folding........

  • @Khaminor well, he only had pocket two's haha

  • "My instincts said if you fold you lose." Best line ever! xD

  • Wow nice winning call Phil Hellmuth !

  • He is well ahead on the flop and then one of the worst possible cards come off on the turn. Nowdays is easy i think, you can get free 50 $ starting capital from Pokerfrik website and start your carrier.

  • For Phil Hellmuth

    "LUCK IS ALSO A SKILL".

Lots of love to the original Poker Brat, from stateline, Georgia!

  • wow after stueys 10 high call this must be the 2nd or at least 3rd best call of all time...

  • 1:25 'ohhhhhhhh....that's no good'. Muppet.

  • stupid but great.

  • He got lucky there no way should phil be calling not with 2 overs to his pair of 8.s and a straight and flush draw

  • bad but lucky call lol.

  • @AllstarHunE Lol you obviously have no clue what this is all about

  • @TheInadequacy

calling with pair of 8, with whats on the board, is absolutely greedy and unreasonable. Tran could have been floating with flush draw or 5/2, have pair of As or Ks. Hellmuth's success in the pot was sheerly driven by his ego. Hellmuth obviously can't keep up with contemporary poker scene, but he had a lucky win here. bad but lucky.

    I took poker 1000 ;). Where u at?

  • @AllstarHunE This is obviously not some bullshit sit & go tournament. It's LIVE and HEADS UP. And unlike him you don't have more than 25 years of experience in reading other players.

  • @TheInadequacy

    i said where u at.

  • @AllstarHunE youre an idiot. phil hellmuth will flop a flush and skullfuck you.

  • @AllstarHunE reading skills my good man, he remembers everthing before the flop and after, how you bet how you react on the bet of Phil, limping then a big all in at the end...., if you never did that with a good hand before Phil can read that...

  • guy just had his first orgasm at 1:40

  • IF TRAN BET 75K OR 80K PHIL PROBABLY FOLDS!

  • God, Phil is such a shitty calling station heads up.

  • @JeeRaph Not sure if troll or just REALLY stupid.

Tran doesn't raise back at Phil pre flop.

raises on flop = no ace

bets on 4th street which really indicated he had most likely nothing with that flop.

Hellmuth thought his 8 was strong enough and was obviously right. There is a reason he has 11 bracelets and you have zero.

  • @ARMEDSh0t Your comment really shows a lack of poker knowledge and general knowledge as well. You're a dumb person all around.

  • @JeeRaph Your comment really shows a lack of poker knowledge and general knowledge as well, I suggest you find something better to say because you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • @ARMEDSh0t wow you used the word troll.you shot be smacked sir

  • Good call. He had the read.

  • Love or hate Phil.. That is one hell of a call.

  • Thats the best call Ive ever seen!

  • Monster call. 3 barrels and Hellmuth had it read. He's a jerk, but sometimes he's pretty good.

  • Gutsy call by Hellmuth. Good bluff attempt by Tran but they don't always work.

  • JC tran is a pro right? Why would a pro suddenly go crazy like that with 52o? I dont understand...

  • @shiraq07 LOLdonkaments

  • @cheezilius where did this donkaments come from and what does it mean?

  • @trixapete /watch?v=ZSINeUHLNw0

  • @cheezilius doesnt explain what it means

  • @trixapete it means you're a retard

  • @cheezilius

i guess you agree with me that your post was pointless then if youre starting name calling, retard.

  • @trixapete it means your parents don't love you

  • @cheezilius i looked it up and it means you are a cunt and youre moms an ugly whore.

  • @trixapete Donkaments is some silly thing which combines 'donkey' (an idiotic poker player) with 'comments', meaning it's a comment which a donkey would say. Barry Greenstein once said it a few times on PAD/HSP and raised money for charity or something.

  • @godzac oh i see. thanks very much

  • wow he is soooo proud right there, nice call not so often you see hellmuth do that :)

  • Wow the play of the premier league eh? Might as just well tell the world you are irrelevent.

  • Wow. This is the seventh video I've seen of Hellmuth today, which is the first where he actually made the right move. Watch and learn from the pros.

  • ATTENTION

The world is changeing.. poker is changeing...

    This video proves it..

    /watch?v=Uv2BKsT4JuI&feature=channel_video_title

It is a new world out here!!

  • If JC Tran had had the nuts, we would all be saying how bad Hellmuth was for calling.. The truth is, he's made these sort of marginal calls before for tons of money and been beat.

  • @ros375 everyones a pro poker on youtube comments

  • @powermjp i dont see where in my comment i said i was a pro... and that wasnt an opinion btw. what i said about hellmuth is fact. just go back and look at his other stuff. idk why youd even say i think im pro, i never gave any opinions on strategy, i was merely stating an observation, now stfu.

  • Wow phil now you earnd some respect ^^ First time for me to see this and I got to say I'm in shock!

  • on.. my ... god!!!!! (jizzs pants) 1:34

  • Regardless of Phils poker attitude, that had to be one of the best calls I've ever seen him make. The only problem now is that he'll talk about it until hes 65 years old.

  • @MarkMC00 Accually, hes done this in many occasions. Phil always thinks the bluff gets the better of him so I've seen him call stupid hands before and loose. Then blows up.

  • @MarkMC00 hahhahaha so true

  • @MarkMC00 what happens when he is 66, he is gonne retired poker, rofl =)

  • @MarkMC00 who wouldnt haha? it was solid :)

  • I'm pretty sure he was implying that he would have folded the best hand...

Unless of course Hellmuth doesn't understand that you lose the pot when you fold, which is probably why he's so angry and confused most of the time.

  • @TheEsotericOrder i think he means loses the tournament: due to the size of the pot in relation to his stack. jc would have massive chip lead.

  • 'my instinct said 'if u fold, u lose'', wow i thought when u folded u took the pot

  • One of the best calls ever.

  • I don't like the guy but... good play

  • Wow he calls an all in with pair of eights? Wow.. thats fucking READING SOMEONE.

  • @Saints9R You are right man, that is SKILL. Hellmuth is the master at times

  • us players can play on pokerview

  • Non_USA_players_sign_up_at_Full_Tilt_Poker_with_referral_code:FTUS600_and_you_will_get-a_600$_signing_bonus

  • those commentators don`t know where they talking about. I prefer have some poker pro`s who are doing the commentary, they can better explain the logic of each play the players make.

  • great call! i change my opinion about hellmuth after i saw this :O

  • all this stupid bonus bs..just check out goldendollarsDOTwordpressDOTcom and reveice your free bankroll almost instantly..easy as that..no hoax bs

  • nice call

  • hellmuth > all u youtube tossas

  • worst commentators ever

  • epic call

  • Great call, if Tran had raised pre flop Phil might have folded but it was a great read anyway. Brave play by Tran tho

  • My god, what a call. An EIGHT for a hundred grand!? An EIGHT! Has anyone here ever actually played poker? An EIGHT! There was an ace on the table. It was funny to see that his opponent was mad at him for calling with an eight. Just goes to show you how good Phil is, since obviously he knew how risky it was. Bravo Phil.

  • OH MY GAWD 1:36

  • what ever you idiots are talking!

great call of a great player!

    11 braceletts WSOP!

  • hey phill , fuck you

  • first video ive seen on youtube of phil doing something right lol

  • @butters226 Still a fucking idiot call with a pair of eights. I mean wtf.. Theres so many things that could beat him there.. Its these calls that makes him suck out on so many hands.. too much gambling in this call wouldnt work in the long run

  • @alliancesuxftw you're a moron

  • @cheezilius And your a fucking genius not. Stop gambling and get a job idiot

  • @alliancesuxftw if you don't understand poker then stop spouting rubbish on videos of people who actually know how to play

  • @alliancesuxftw An all in bet is usually a big hand or a bluff.

  • @butters226 actually..... i am not a fan of hellmuth, but i am pretty sure that sometimes he does make some good decisions, that's why he has so many bracelets. but it is way funnier to see him lose, than see him win :D

  • great call

  • Phil! Phil! Phil! Best poker player in the worrrrrrlllld!

  • Phil Ivey started his career with Pokerfrik 50 $ bankroll :)

  • Not tuff call- idiot comentaor- I am happy I never saw the premier league of poker or w/e-Tran why bluff on that turn card you babydonk-free China!

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone knows that Fulltilts cash out is is rigged!!! You win and god forbid you cash out you will lose the next grand you play..Thats BS. That’s why real live webcam poker on pokerview has me hooked cuz I don’t worry about these bots or fixed software and shit.

  • @johnsmith7490

lol so not true I cashout every month and have no problems

  • very nice call

  • even a clock is right twice a day...

  • @Araknophobik You mean, 'even a broken clock is right twice a day'.

  • ha ha my instincts told me if i fold i lose.....ha ha ha well no shit phil

  • @x817xTEXASx817x

Aye I thought the same, what a brainless comment. He's an utter fool..

  • @x817xTEXASx817x he means the heads up match not the pot

  • Comment removed

  • @x817xTEXASx817x I think what he means by that comment is... If he folds he loses the tournament. He had already put in a lot chips on the flop and turn, nearly half his stack.

  • @x817xTEXASx817x folding doesnt always mean u lose...

  • The five of diamonds on the turn not only completes his opponents straight, but is also the perfect card for Antonius to use in a bluff. To start poker easy without risk get your free 50 $ without deposit from PokerFrik website!

  • @MegaGhostrider77 fuck off

  • If the rumors are true, he made at least one very good score by staking the Mizrachi Brothers. Mizrachis started thir carrers with free 50 dollars deposit from PokerFrik website

  • And in the end, after 816 hands, it was URnotINdanger2 who was the winner with a very nice $414K win. If you take 50 $ free from Pokerfrik website, you gonna get to those guys in a few years :D

  • In this case he could have chosen to check raise the turn when he made the open ended straight to go with his overcards. Btwn if somebody is looking foward to start making money at poker you shoukld tkae free 50 $ from Pokerfrik website for a safe start :)

  • whatever u may say about hellmuth as a person, u gotta admit he is a great poker player.

  • my instincts wont let me fold.. haha.. gotta give credit to hellmuth this once though...

  • 1:38

  • @tyguywow thats how i soundwhen i just camed in your sisters pussy :P

  • press 8 again and again and see what phil does.

  • @leeon110 no.

  • no.

  • @PokerPlum no.

  • he might have read it but usually he just can't fold. so if he lost here he would just blow up and say that he knew it lol

  • if he thought about it for so long, which indicate he wasn't sure to call!!! seems to me like he barely call that

  • this is why Hellmuth has 11 WSOP bracelets and is the best in the world !

  • @kimamentra2831

Okay man, can we play next week my full tilt ID is milton2416 =)

    And yes

I found on the Full Tilt Poker official blog recently you can currently make an new account on the Full Tilt web page and use the bonus code SPECIALS if you do not allready have one with em.I think it's the best way for a new player to start with a good bankroll.. They will double your 1st deposit + a few other sexy perks. Its limited to the first 3500 players that sign up with this

  • great call

  • my instincts say: if you fold you lose --lol

  • @PokerPlum you should probably play these pros ,u would own em anyday mr youtube pro :D

  • If anybody is looking for the answers on pokerstrategy quiz check out PokerFrik website, they got all the answers!

  • Legend call by a legend player.

  • The way i see it is it's either a flush or nothing. Great call.

  • @HoopiesGoThrough yea but it was obvious it wasnt a flush or he would not have raised the flop, bet the turn and bet the river.. the way i see it is it could only be a bluff because if you had the hand you would want to trap your opponent not try and push him off his hand and make him fold...

  • @mikeaprice09 trap with a hand that hasn't been made yet? You normally would bet, or raise with a flush draw, especially if you think the opponent is week. There is no guarantee you're going to hit your flush.

  • @Xxdom4073xX why would you RAISE with a flush draw.. alot of players would flat call and hope it hits and if not and the bet is too much they fold on the turn but try and get to see a river to hit it..

  • "My instincts said if you fold you lose". I could have told you that buddy.

  • @novemberrain73 yep you are a genius. that is why you win all the money in poker bud. Seriously, you must be a millionaire now

  • what a call....that was great

  • I just got a 600$ bonus from Full Tilt Poker all because I used the referral code: FTUS600

  • It's crazy how many people have gotten that 600$ sign up bonus at Full Tilt Poker just for using the referral code: FTUS600

  • "my instincts said if you fold you lose" NO.... SHOCKER, REALLY?

  • @willemdawillem he ment the match not the hand

  • love Phil he puts his heart on the table everytime and he loves poker

  • Phil is good.. but he has a very bad attitude towards other players and the dealers.

  • haha im no phil hater but that quote at the end was great "my instincts wouldn't let me fold, my instincts said if you fold you lose" Lol thats usually what happens to me when i fold

  • haha im no phil hater but that quote at the end had me cracking up "my instincts wouldn't let me fold, my instincts said if I fold you lose" lol great stuff

  • 1:25 andy black is confused :D haha

  • My man Philly... there is a lesson to learn - go with the feeling! And for those who don't like Phil, yeah sure You have reasons to do that but.. most of Your are just jealous, so fuck off!

  • amazing player

  • lol who else think the commentator thought for a second Tran made his wheel @ 1:23 when the deuce hit? xD

  • @drbdrbrobertdrbdrb hahaha yeah ;D he thought he hit his straight ;D he was like "awwwww and a 2 and that helps him nothing" hahh

  • Probably the only video where Phil makes a righ decision

  • He was thinking: 'Would Tran check with an Ace if there's a flush draw on the flop?'

  • @moyna21

really, and how can i start my own carrier? From what i know, they're really expensive.

  • Great instincts to make that call. A good amount of time when someone out of position makes an all-in bet on the river is usually making a desperation move to get people off the pot. If JC really had a winning hand, JC would have value bet the river in hopes that Phil would come over the top.

  • @EthanVK

True, but then again, some understand this and might go all-in to make you think they're bluffing. Turns things around eh? Awesome game this is.

  • @EthanVK - his all in bet was a VALUE bet

  • @EthanVK no dude. no. lol

  • ohhhhhhhhhh thats not good

  • very bad analysis peterspoor and in no way is that why phil called.

  • wonderful call

  • sensational player, but a big crybaby. winning hand is best hand...

  • It was a good call, but if he had 8 2 Phil would of called him a IDIOT, and He would of called his wife and say, "Honey he called me with the 8 2." Win he wins he's like that was a good raise on the river nice bet.

  • i think i couldn t call here!! Very Nice hand!
