  • SHE IS A CUTIE! She is totally awesome!

  • Wow! She's been en pointe for only three months and her fouettes are flawless! Pure talent!

  • she's pretty good

  • I was eleven when I went on pointe....it really depends on the kid.... And I would like to know what system...rad, cechetti, or vagnova....@BalletPrincess1998

  • She is toooooo young! 10 years old!!!!! I'm sorry but that is madness! She is great and all but she won't be able to dance when she is older because she will have hurt herself!

  • What system do you use at Anaheim ballet. Rad, cechetti, vagnova?

  • Does she wear an Elite Grishko! I do love to ask!

  • Maybe she is physically strong enough to be en pointe. I know in Russia they have 7 year olds en pointe.

  • i sooo agree she is way to young to doing en pointe! wow what a liability!

  • she has got a natural talent!!!

  • I LOVE YOU AUSTIN!!! <3 <3 <3

  • It kind of bothers me the fact that she''s only ten at my dance school they won't allow you to dance on pointe until your 12 because they don't want you to get hurt because your not ready

  • You need to do a new one with her, now that she's older!

  • I've been en pointe for about 9 months and no way I can do that. ( I'm not into a proffesional school though)

  • She is so freaking cute! I want to put her in a music box!!

  • I cant decide if i love this kid cos shes so cute, or hate her cos shes insanely amazing at ballet!

  • How can anyone say this was the wrong time for her to be on pointe? This was two years ago and the current videos of her show that it can't of damaged her feet too much because she is an incredible dancer! She has performed Clara twice in a row and danced it beautifully. If here she believes she can't do fouettes, she most certainly can do them now! Watch "One day until nutcracker" to see!

  • I love how she says she can't do fouettes, and it cuts to her doing them 10x better than I can.

It's possible her feet are ready for pointe. They can take x-rays of young girl's feet to make sure she is ready for it. I doubt AB would start her on pointe if she wasn't ready. After all, they are pro dancers.

  • Does Austin has a Youtube channel?

  • All of you....

She IS too young to be on pointe. Did any of you see Darcy Bussel's last dance?

I hate my feet now. I'm 14 and I went on pointe when I was 8 after dancing since I was 2. Already they ache and are sore and arch too much. I love ballet, but I am starting to wonder if I was pushed...? I am at the Royal Ballet School now and... Well. If you want to go on pointe and look glamorous as I did, please think of your feet... :'( x

  • Man Ive been dancing on point for 3 months and I am not nearly as good as her :(

  • u r amazing and awesome keep it up

  • You inspire me !!!!!

  • No wonder she can't pull up on her fouettes, she's TEN! She has such potential though, you can see her focus when she's doing her barre work.

  • shes a luck girl

  • OH MY GOODNESS I love Austin:) KEEP DANCING AUSTIN!

We need more Austin videos! (please???)

  • 3 months!!!! after about 6 months im not half as good as her

  • Aww and now she is Clara :)

  • she's great, just wait when we see her again in ten years. She'll be a principle dancer with no problem. To cookie monster yes she was bouncing on one foot it is done. I've seen Gelst Kirkland for sure and i beleive several sugar plumb faries unfortunarely I don't have their names

  • Aw ! I love how she says she would to play Clara in the Nutcracker and now in the Anaheim Ballet's Nutcracker 2011 , she is . <3

I hope one day my dance dreams will also come true .

  • On pointe for three months and she's doing fouettes? I've been doing it for three and a half years and I'm just starting single pirouettes.....

  • i love love love ballet!!!!!!!

    :)

  • aww she seems so little here compared to the video posted a few days ago! she keeps growing up!

  • Only THREE months en pointe?? Wow....we spent at least a year in training and strength classes before we even started fouettes and hops en pointe....impressive. =)

  • Wow!!! She's amazing!!! Im older than her and I still haven't started pointe yet!!! And by the way, those 150 idiots who disliked this video need to get a life. She's just a great little dancer with a big dream. DON'T GIVE UP AUSTIN!!! :)

  • 2 months on pointe? you gota be kidding me! shes amazing

  • Was it just me or was she jumping en pointe en one foot.... Or is that some kinda ballet step o never heard of

  • how could je push the dislike button!? helloo she's gorgeouss and a very talented dancer

  • @xxBeeH16 ben het met je eens hoor bea

  • 3 months on pointe and she's turning like that?!?!?!?!?! we need a pointe turning tips video now please!

  • She's so talented! Great work, Austin!

  • Press 7 for hyperventalation

  • She's way to young to be on pointe. It interfers with foot development.

  • only 3 months of pointe?! I've been on pointe for 3 years and can do 32 fouettes but, she is amazing!!!!

  • Nice pirouettes! I'm just figuring out three... and why can't we do cool combinations like that in my class? haha

  • She shouldn't go on pointe too early, because in the future she will have very damaged feet. But, I'm pretty sure that her feet r strong- so she doesnt have the worry about it.. :)

  • she is so talented :D !! cute lil angel :D !! she will grow up to be one of the most beautiful dancers in the world :) !

  • maybe shes cute but i think puttin a 9 year old en oint is a good idea

  • being on pionte that young is dangerous

  • @Bambamez Actually, I started when I was 10. And I am fine. It just depends if your feet are developed.

  • So what if she 10 , she should be on pointe because she wonderful technique, Ive been dancing for a year and now im on Pointe, by the way in the ballet world you should be starting pointe at the age of 10 anyway and if your older than her and been dancing for a longer time than she has something wrong....im just saying, im 15 and e pointe and start late and your not pointe yes...

  • she has been dancing for only 5 years?? i have been dancing for 6 years i started when i was 3 and a half.....and i haven't even learn pointe.

  • wow she is soo talented! i wish i was a good as her!!

  • I want a follow up profile!!! ;-D

  • I don't mean to troll and I love ballet, but isn't she too young to be en pointe? I thought the bones are too soft in little kids and if they do it, it can damage their feet...

  • @FemaleUnknownUser it dosnt matter how old they are its how strong there feet and ankles are

  • @FemaleUnknownUser

it can, but they say like if you have very good ankles and core strength then you can get on before 12 but they prefer you go en pointe after 12 or 13, like me im 14 and have done ballet since lie 10 or 11 , i get my pointe shoes next year i think, it just depends on your strength(:

  • @FemaleUnknownUser thats true, you should be older than 11 years for wearing those shoes

  • @FemaleUnknownUser yea but shes good i mean really good but 5 months en pointe no way that even posible

  • @FemaleUnknownUser I don't know the specifics, but we were allowed to go on point at 11. I danced on point until college and am now 32 without any issues. I think a lot of it has to do with how strong you are.

  • @FemaleUnknownUser You are absolutely correct. I shudder to think of the damage this my cause to her feet

  • @FemaleUnknownUser she`s not young she has the perfect age!!!!!!!

  • @FemaleUnknownUser I understand what your saying but pointe starts at level 5. She must be good if she's already there and since she's been doing it awhile her bones have to be stronger. She can take it.

  • @FemaleUnknownUser ya kno i thought so also but then again she is 10 years old already.. bones should be pretty sturdy by then.. of course she's still growing and all but i dont think its that bad. it seems bad fer her becuz shes so tiny for her age but i think 10 is pretty reasonable :)

  • @FemaleUnknownUser nope. for different people their bones and muscles develope at their own rate, and by the looks of it she has a lot of muscle in her legs and a good point.

  • @FemaleUnknownUser yeah you aren't supposed to start pointe until you are at least 11-13. Most teachers prefer you to start at the age 13 so what your bones and muscles are fully developed. Even if she is on demi pointe it is still very unhealthy for her feet.

  • @FemaleUnknownUser really IT DOESN'T matter how old you are... as long as ur teacher thinks ur ready i mean im 11 turning 12! and I've been on pointe sence i was 8...when ur teacher thinks ur ready he/she KNOWS UR READY :)

  • @FemaleUnknownUser i think in general; yes it can be dangerous. But I guess in some circumstances they can be strong enough. I don't think Anaheim would do anything to jeopardize her health.

  • @FemaleUnknownUser Its really just about how strong your ankles are. I was ten when I went en pointe and I'm fine. So I guess it really just depends about your strength, not age.

  • @FemaleUnknownUser That depends on the person. Teachers usually look at technique, growth and ability before they allow someone to dance en pointe. I heard ten is avarage in professional ballet to start on pointe, but some girls start earliers, while others start later. It all depends on personal strength, built and experience.

  • who in the right mind would dislike this video?!

  • this is my 7th year of dancing... i have been dancing since i was 2

  • i wish i waz in ballet... but im 15 and i doubt ill get in =[

  • @TheMarinesis some studios have teen beginner classes. mine did, and so i was able to start at 14. just do a little research :)

  • Honestly, they wouldn't of put her up of they felt she wasn't fitting all the things you need to have to be on en pointe. Shes a great dancer, she will be able to excell and perform better than me. She's a great dancer to watch

  • @LilSpudling I discard your opinion if you use that many exclamation marks to punctuate one sentence non-ironically.

  • There's a girl in my class and it's her first year ever. There is also a 9 year old in my class.

  • i love Austin she is so good

  • @LilSpudling they are a professional company, I'm sure they know if she is ready and strong enough to go en pointe

  • OMG SHE'S 10 ?!?!?!?!

  • She's adorable! She also looks about 14 years old

  • I'm 12 and I haven't started pointe yet :/ Though you shouldn't start it too early, i believe anything under 11/12 is bad for your bones. I really can't wait to start (I think pointe is beautiful) and I feel ready ;D

  • She is not prepeared. If she is 9 and cute that does not make her good at what she does.

  • She is the sweetest thing -3 especially when she smiles -33333333333 love you Austin

  • ok yeah.. im almost 16 and i think i start pointe when i was 12 and i just started trying fouettes.... I feel like crawling in a hole

  • At 00:46 she looks like a boy.

  • i'm 12 and on pointe. o.o i've been on pointe for a little more than 2 weeks. (: give me tips.. pleease. o.o

  • @TheBallKeeper wtf?

  • she is adorable... <3

  • I find it amazing how she had only been en pointe for three months, yet she could do fouettes already!

  • she's sooooo cute, she must be quite strong to be allowed to go on pointe at 10

  • Shes good but not very graceful. They should have waited til she was 13

  • Her giggle is sooooo cute!! Not to mention that she's incredibly talented and you can see how much she loves dancing just by her face :)

  • How in the **** Is it that there are 114 Dislike To a Young girl with a Dream???

  • @koffiemokie People who are jealous... maybe

    I agree with you :)

  • @koffiemokie probably because she is on pointe at such an early age.

  • I'm so jealous I just started pointe back this year and I pray each and every day that I will be the best I can be :)

  • omg well done

  • she's adorable :) i wish i continued. id be flexible and on pointe right now.

  • Your so great keep it up!!! I'm going on pointe this Monday so thats exciting! I'm going to be clara in the nutcracker this Christmas @ Trillogy Cultural arts center! I don't like bar very much either! fouette turn are hard for me right now too! My favorite thing to do is pique turns! Your so beautiful! ohh BTW i'm 11 so your probably a little bit better than me since your 10 and on pointe and i'm 11 and going to be on pointe, but then again i've only been dancing for 1 year! Crazy huh? LUV JESS

  • ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WWWWWWWHAT OMG

  • Right now shes 12

  • I know her

  • I'm 13 and just got up 2 weeks ago....

  • A little young to be on pointe right?

  • she's been en pointe for 3 months only? Wow she's amazing

  • Awww she was so cute, she'll be a good dancer when she's older. I started ballet when I was about 3 years old.

  • she is very good for her age but im a bit worried about her foot bones usually the dont mature to about age 12. she is very good though

  • I was about 3 years old when I start :D

  • wow!

  • Where does she Dance?

  • I started Pointe when i was 11!!! And how did you learn to do double turns & fouettes in 3 months! It's been a year and I still can't do a Single turn!!!

  • awww, she is so cute. I love her reaction when she found out that this is her Dancer Profile. lol

    So cute.

  • I was 7 wen i started, 10 wen i had to stop. and in tha middle of last month, I've decided to teach myself. and, i guess i'm ok for someone who hasn't done it in 4 years! :) You are so gracful Austin! It's amazing to see you on pointe!

  • beautiful and strong at the same time <3

  • To all whom say 'she is to young to be on pointe'. You really have to take a look at what's going on, Anaheim ballet has some wonderful dancers and surely some wonderful teachers. Professional teachers, and if the teachers and the girls parents agree that she is skilled and old enough to be on pointe, then she is.

  • @Verdredi its not about being skilled it has to do with bone growth. She was not finished growing and her parents did her an injustice. I've heard of children starting pointe at a young age, its all for the school not the child. The parents were probably given free tuition but its not worth it. They were very selfish. One parent at my dd's school said many schools do it so they can stay competitive but I would never allow it.

  • @brownnbubblie See though you're assuming there that.

    -You assume she isn't ready.

-You assume her parents have been given free tuition.

It isn't really your place or mine to say weather she is or isn't prepared for this, I was simply stating a point that i highly doubt a teacher would throw her into this if she were extremely ill prepared. The damage it could cause to her feet and the potential law suit wouldn't be worth one more dancer on pointe.

  • @Verdredi umm yes I dont know her so my response is based on what I've heard from many parents of professional dancers. It is my place to say whether she is prepared or not, this is an open forum where I am free to express my opinion. She does not look prepared to me and I am sticking with that.

  • @brownnbubblie Then allow me to have my opinion. You can think whatever you want.

  • @Verdredi I never once implied that you were not allowed your own opinion.

  • great fouette! how old is that girl? so amazing!!! :)

  • more videos about her please!

  • i LOVE this girl! shes so inspiring! :O

  • wow!

  • why would anyone dislike this video?!?

  • its cool but a little dum and creepy

  • she is way to young to start pointe I agree her bones are still soft and she would not be that good for just doing pointe for three months!

  • 10 is way to young you will ruin your feet your bones are to soft :O

  • POINTE FOR 3 MONTHS AND ALREADY DOING FOUETTES?

  • i never tire of watching this. just. amazing. so inspirational.

  • Amazing:Dxxx

  • shes adorable!

  • i want to do ballea

  • i think oyu called your videeo tiny dancer because youe littlr bit tinny but you can point you toes

  • Pulling up on fouettes?! I've been on pointe for over a year now, and I can't do a fouette AT ALL. :|

  • @PrimaOnPointe dont worry me neither

  • @PrimaOnPointe hahahaaha that is sad :/ but anaheim ballet are suchh good dancers :/ i think they do magic on them LOL xD

  • @TheSupergirl15 I wonder how long they practice. :b

  • I would love to do ballet! So beautiful. She's good :)

  • how old is she!?!?!?

  • u are aesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ummmmmmmmmmmm she's...................amazing

  • shes been on pointe for only 3 months

    thats a lie

  • she's adorable!

  • She is amazing at what she does and kudos to her but as for her teacher her feet could be damaged forever while they are still growing and doing that advanced of pointe. However she is absolutely amazing!

  • how old is austin now??

  • Of all the videos you've posted the dancers who stand out the most to me are Austin and Victoria :)

  • I am amazed by her talent, are there any recent videos. I would love to see more of her performances.

  • @LenaDelovely it depends on the studio

  • How is she so fearless? I'm 16 and i've been on pointe for 3 years and foutte turns on point scare me just a little bit...

  • oh, nevermind!!!!!!!!

  • after watching black swan...so hard to imagine this girl as the white and black swan.

  • wow! she is so wonderful

  • Well dance was fun for the last 10 years....now im quitting after watching this.

  • On pointe for 3 months? I couldn't even stand up away from the bar at three months

  • @dancejmk i think she said three years

  • @Emmycutie96 Nope she said months.

  • i love your profile. i am 10 years old also. i received my first pointe shoes today and am so excited to start. i have been in nutcracker also for the past 4 years and love it...i also dont like bar stretch like you. we have so much in common. good luck and keep dancing....

  • She's so cuteeeee!!!!

  • People think this girl is young to be on pointe? Try looking at the russian kids, they are on pointe at 5 or 6!

  • thats sooooooo good

  • She's siiiiick!

  • jealous that she can already do pirrouettes en pointe....then again, if i had long classes everyday i would tooo.

  • Well, where we dance, u have to be atleast 11! and make sure all of your foot bones are strong enough

  • @elizaluvsyouall atmy dance studio you have to be 12 unless u get a writen note from a foot specialist that says your feet are strong enough. becuase some people are ready ( strength wise, before others). this could be her case :)

  • Comment removed

  • @elizaluvsyouall where I dance, it doesn't matter your age. You just have to have the right bones. My ballet teacher makes sure your really, really ready though. only once at our dance studio has a 10 year old gotten ballet shoes

  • @elizaluvsyouall Where I dance at you have to be at least 13! So that your ankle bones are fully developed.

  • @elizaluvsyouall oh shut up in russia you start pointe at like 6
