@wizza1221 That's exactly what happened with the Browns. In 1995, the "old" Browns were moved out of town by then-owner Art Modell to Baltimore (thus creating the Baltimore Ravens), and it created a huge uproar. How huge? To this day, Modell cannot set foot in Cleveland.

As part of the deal to move his team to Baltimore, Modell agreed to leave the team's history in Cleveland. The current Browns started in 1999 as an expansion team.

In England we pretty much accept that the owners of a club are money men, we like them to give the club money but leave the actual running of it to the experts (our manager) and Randy does this brilliantly, O'Neill sorts our team out, any problems are on his head, over here its the managers job to build a team, not the owners. Randy gives him the money to do it and we are becoming successful as a result.
