this pisses me off on videos demoing notes. who do you know takes notes at 90 point size? the objective is not that we can scribble on it like a 2yr old but if we can really write normally between the lines of a college ruled background.
This company think of the worst names. Their name was suppose to be PEGASUS which sounded good and actually has meaning but changed it to a meaningless ASUS so they can be placed on top alphabetically. Well, ACER and APPLE still trumps them in that aspect...LOL! Most people often mispronounce their name too so it's a sorry and ugly name for a company. Then they have the Eee brand...same thing. Eeeeeeeew! PC....I don't get it, why the triple E? Why not just call it e-PC, like e-Ink.
@puppyjoe69 I'm sorry, but are you just here to rant? Or are you trolling? The EEE is an acronym for Easy to Work, Easy to Learn, and Easy to Play. You just pronounce it as E-PC. And the name isn't really that terrible. It's not like it's hard to pronounce either. When you look at it, Apple or Acer or HP or Dell also make little sense superficially, but there is probably a history behind each name. ASUS is a great company. So are the others.
Something never heard before? where do they get these guys from!? tablet pcs exist since 2001! slates like these one were already made just check out motion ls800 (made in 2005). The difference is those tablets are actually a full fledge pc and not an oversized smartphone... But I'm happy that at least one company knows that there is a market for pen enabled tablets instead of those touch enabled media junks that seems to prevail these days...
@mottiago I think what they mean is that it's only used for writing and such. Not too sure exactly but that's how I perceived it. The motion ls800 looks nice though. I'm just looking for something that is essentially the same as having infinite amounts of paper (or until I run out of microSD cards..)
Reminds me of a giant b/w palm pilot machine, might as well be pulling out my old M100 Palm machine, it would do just about the same thing as this in a smaller size, just with a lot less memory, and no camera LOL! Heck back in the day I was reading .txt books, and had a few nice game on the little thing. LOL it was awesome for quick notes in school, when i did not have any paper on me lol.

I actually really like the idea of this! The camera is a neat yet somewhat odd addition too!

@rudyiking $199? sound good to you? I want to get my hands on this to try out handwriting. I spend almost $100 on pens and paper for notes in a year.
