actually Frankiecasa is correct the Rainbow Shark (Epalzeorhynchos frenatum) and the red tailed shark (Epalzeorhynchos bicolor) are infact (hence the two different scientific name) seperate species, both belonging to the Cyprinidae family.

The two fish fighting were a red tailed black shark and a parrot cichlid.

The parrot is a crossbreed and is infertile. I kept them for a couple of years and have to say they are the messiest fish I ever had, they dig through the sand and will move all of it to one end of the tank overnight. My advice to anyone thinking of buying them is buy something else instead.

You neeed to clean that tank if its yours! Try getting some catfish and a couple of snails..they will keep the water clean without doing a water change...
