1st mod to c90 shod be a c70 head because it has biger valves then pit bike carb,swan neck,cdi box,coil pack,pipe and can then inner rotor and lighter oil spinner :)

I think it sounds ok myself. I also like the sound of a 4 speed with clutch conversion. I own a C70 that i am considering converting for mild trail riding. (I ride it on trails stock right now but the front suspension takes a pounding.) these are simple, durable and plentiful bikes, why not have some fun with them.

no, no, no what you need to do is get a 110 or 125 cylinder head which is were all the cylinder capacity comes into it all and maybe a better carb and it'll be a good bike aswell as a quick one at that and i've got a jincheng and chinese metal is total crap so please anyone reading this DON'T BUY CHINESE you wasting your time and yes this one the best bikes possibly ever made!

Maybe I'm missing something, but could you explain how changing the cylinder head would change the swept volume? Combustion chamber size won't affect displacement. The only thing that can increase displacement is bore and stroke. Anyone that knows how to calculate displacement can tell you that.

well the only other way to increase capacity besides the bore and stroke, is turbocharging or supercharging.

Capacity and displacement are not the same thing (hence the reason why a 1.3L rotary engine has the capacity of a 2.6L piston engine), and forced induction affects neither. Forced induction simply crams more air into the same space.

Exactly! Forced induction effectively makes better use of the given displacement, althought the torque curves may be different due to turbo lag as such. supercharging is less affected by lag but you are taking power off the engine to develop more. but I am making an irelavent comment regarding this video I realise sorry :) Hey good work on that exhaust, nice deep and throaty sound, not like those shonky backyard jobs I find where they just saw the end off the stock exhaust, they sound aweful!

Theres not really much point in spending money on a c90 engine, your just wasting money, yr better off going out and buying a 125cc pit bike engine for it, which is already tuned up with 4 gears, manual aswell, or to do it cheaper, just bolt a 125 pit bike carb to your 90 lump, that will make it better too, as my mate done it to his bike and it made it good, cos the real honda c90 have longer gears than a pit bike, so the acceleration isnt as quick as a pit bike, but the top end is much quicker

Not true. A C90 engine that has been tuned with all genuine Honda or Japanese aftermarket parts will last much longer than any Chinese built pitbike motor.

The metal in some of those Chinese engines is made of cheese.

that muffler sounds sick. listen to mine. i just bought a jayaco japanese racing muffler gutted out the resonator or i think thats what it is called, took out the silencer also and welded it back. other mods are bored out cylinder, jayaco racing filter and mykasuka coilovers.

It was a purchased one, i got it from ooracing[dot]com - Was originally for a monkey bike but they also fit the honda c50's c70's and c90's too which is great!

I found just the right diameter and curve for a Cub on an old market traders dress rail. A Suzuki RGV250 silencer fits this. Total cost £5.

haha lmao hey mate iv got one of these but its a honda c70s with a dirt tyre on the back and a straight through exhaust also with no rear mudguard bet mine sounds better :P lol if you take the exhaust off put a staight pipe and a funnel on the end it sounds even better lol. if you want i can put a video on here.
