iphone is faster because the Nokia is not actived: Shrink text, medium images, shrink web page, medium size settings. How are you doing a comparision when the settings are very very diferents? set same settings in both and u will see!!!!!!!!! I have booth and the nokia is faster!

N97 is a crap phone and I know cos I own one. Would never buy an apple as I might turn into one of the brainwashed Apple evangelists that can recite Apple propaganda from memory. So what does that leave me with? Not much. What is so hard about making a decent mobile phone? The video didn't really show much difference but I know the Nokia is heaps slower in almost every other respect. (multitasking, which Apple lacks does slow it down a bit and I forgive that but it is still way too slow)

iphone is slightly faster...but the whole browsing experience is much better, easier than the nokia...even the page fits perfectly on the iphone while the nokia pages looks weird and zoomed in a weird way..but on the other side the keyboard on the nokia is a good point..although typing on the screen of the iphone is pretty easy and fast...the iphone looks better and it is more fun with the apps and all of that...the camera is bad but even if i got my nokia i ll still use my digital camera..lool

I notice that you had the N97 setup to open web pages in zoomed mode, this would naturally slow down the N97 as you are asking it to open the pages with much larger fonts etc. It's interesting to note that when the N97 opened pages in full screen mode it was as good as if not faster than the iphone.

OK now take the Nokia N810 connected via bluetooth to the N97 or N96 or N95 8GB and load the tear browser on it and show it compared to the iphone or the curent iphone 3gs.

It loads fast, it will beat both of these but no flash support. Flash support will change. They (adobe) are making it more cross platform compatible.

pretty sad a 3g iphone outperforms the n97... Yes I think its great that a cell phone can display flash support on the internet, but imo its a waste of time and it doesnt hurt you to just go on the youtube app and watch w/e video you want. Remember that N97's browser has Flash support and iPhone's browser does not. N97's browser can show Flash videos and animations, iPhone's browser can't- So N97 browser downloads also Flash content which can lead to a bit longer download times. But as you can see from the video there really is no big difference in sopeed even if iPhone has a bit faster CPU. This also shows that clock speed of the CPU is not the pnly thing which affects the real everyday speed.
