Every aspect of this is perfect. The gentle rhythms slowly building to a lush plateau, the narrator telling of breaking into his acquaintances houses, going through their things with surgical gloves, generally being creepy. Absolute magic.

The first time I listened to Boxer, this and Slow Show were the only songs that didn't sound like the rest of the album. I put Boxer away and decided I wasn't meant to be a fan of The National... weeks later I was humming the tune to this and had to go back and listen to the whole album... fell in love at 2nd listen
