hey, im 16 and ive saved up about £800 so far for a mini and i was just wondering, how expencive is it to get some new parts (im not thinking about doing the engine) just the body i would like to make it look a bit better when i do get one

i got my mini for 700 with barly any rust on but i am getting it re sprayed next month and i have lowered it, got window tints, stage 1 kit, bucket seats, cd player and sub. will be pretty beasty once its all done

Hay it would all depend on what you need to do and wether you get real parts or just patton parts. Patton parts are cheep and great if you can do some panle beating and real parts are far more but fit allmost right. Best place to look for parts is start to get mini world and try MINISPORT & MINISPARES.

how do you de-seem the front and back thinking of doing it to mine!!

Its just a matter of cutting the seems off. But you will have to weld the back seem up on the inside after cutting the seem off. You can cut the front one off but i a got a special drill bit to dill out the spot welds as the front seem is there just to fix the bumper to.

Then just fill and sand it all smooth good thing is if you dont like it you can allways make some brackets up and bolt the bumpers back on.

Abit longer yet need to save some money up for a new wire loom and few more bits.

Swerved a head on crash went through a field into a stell 6ft fence.

Umm well it started it end of october and hope to have it done in the ext week or 2 now but i have only spent weekends on it and the odd days. So i would say about month to month and half start to finish.

It should kick out around 100BHP+ but when i have it together iam going to stick in on a rolling road and see what it rely dose kick out.

Yes i used a proper compressor and spray gun for all spraying.
