@smithyrusselhobbs92 I always found the 'WEE-OOH, WEE-OOH' comet noise annoying, it was fine in SMG1 and with the normal comets in SMG2, but when you get to the Green Stars and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is classed as a comet, it drives you insane!

@Marioplushy Im guessing you haven't gotten Comet Medals. You need to get them to make Prankster Comets appear. Prankster Comets are the same as stars, except they fall from the sky. There are also hidden stars and Hungry Luma Stars/Planets/Galaxys. Message me for more help.

easier way to do the first star is keep the fire flower and simply jump off the green platform, and spin 3 times, you will fly up high enough to obtain the star

only hard 1, MAYBE, was the flipsville one when u have to fall off, the star is like a mm away from the instant death area, if u miss by a friggin inch cos of disorientation, u lose, other than that a lot of these were pathetically easy, obvious, or, and this is pretty much most green stars, just dam awkard

@darkarms58 Just a suggestion. Im not saying it will work but Ive been meaning to try it. Try rolling to the very end of the course. Instead of getting the old goldstar try to angle yourself into the box in the far left corner. If you hit it you'll go back to walking Mario. Once your walking mario see if you can walk back to the place where the green star is. remember not to try and get any extra height with a spin jump because you're still wearing the boulder hat. Good luck

You can hear the green star sound when you get close to them and they emit beams of light that can often be used to reveal their location. If the star is high up you will have to combine spinning with a wall jump and a backflip or a triple jump. If you have to fall off the stage to reach a star, you can use a homing stomp to touch it by pressing the stomp button while spinning in midair above the star. If This kind of stomp will will home in on the star if Mario is not directly above it.
