What I want to know and what nobody seems to answer in clear terms is, how much did Madoff keep? I read Harry Markopolos said Madoff probably kept 'less than 1%', does that mean less than 1% of the purported size of the fund ($60 billion) or 1% of the total money which came and went ($20 billion)?
