  • So I'm guessing everything is pretty, ummmmm super about this bike?

  • so everything is super !!

  • Good description of the feel of the bike from an experienced rider. I can read the spec sheet on kawi's web site.

  • he is so stupid it does have a class its called an enduro

  • Hello, buddy, I like your review. I'd suggest your haters who probably aren't riders anyway that they check the official site of kawasaki for numbers and specifications as I do. Thanks. I think I like this bike. Nice day to all. :)

  • What a shitty review.

    "Super demand"? Pfftt.

  • its super ugly too

  • gay and indian

  • Mkay then... Very super.... Wow...wtf..?

  • is it overly sunny there in the hade of those trees? why the sunglasses?

  • why is he looking at the bike soo much, does he have a note wht to say sticked there?

  • super super super super super super super super super

  • gay ass afliction t shirt

  • Smart guy.

  • the fern keeps trying to eat him (1:22). run from the evil man eating fern.

  • Could this guy be any more brain-dead?

  • I think its the style of their videos. Every time that I am unfortunate enough to watch one, it leaves me saying W.T.F!!!!!

  • good beginner bike?? 5'5 110llbs, can i handle it?

  • honestly, it might be tough reaching the ground without being on tippy toes. Go to the dealership and have a sit.

  • Yep, go have a seat. I just did...And thought I was average height...until I tried to throw a leg over it. And if you like it, I'm sure they can lower it for you.

I'm 5'9-5'10 with boots on, and I had to tippy toe.

I like the seating position and the dual sport ability it has. But for that "just a little bit more" hwy and twisties, the 650r is just as good.

It's gonna be a hard choice, but I'm getting one of'em.

  • It is a tall sucker, but it is a hoot to ride, and this is coming from somebody whos ass is nearly permanently affixed to his Gixer 750's seat in fair weather.

  • I just sat on one this weekend. 6'1", 170lbs and 33" inseam. It's a tall bike. You'll be on your tippy toes.

  • Picking up my green one in three weeks

  • its been 3 weeks, hows the bike??

  • Only reached 40 degrees 2 days in Mass since picking it up, so chilly rides both days. Love the bike but still need to get past break-in to take it above 4k/50mph. Beautiful bike and seems to fit me well (6'-3"). Hoping its a good choice for mostly city and rural road riding once I get comfy with it. I'm 46 and this is my first bike. Let the mid-life crisis begin!

  • have much fun in your mid life crisis, and thanks for the response

  • new category? lol

  • Super smooth, super easy, super bad review! C'mon super man where's the information.

  • This guy should keep his job at the car wash. Loke "sayfarth" siad...where's the information. How does it do against the Stroms, Ducati and BMW's? Crank the throttle for us...

  • Sorry to beat a dead horse, but you need to put more useful info into your reviews.

Instead of everything is "super", give some real information. Here are some suggestions:

    1) What are the performance numbers?

    2) What are the specs?

    3) If you tested it in dirt, show it on the video!

    4) Compare it to other existing bikes, so we can get a sense of perspective.

    5) Price?

    6) MPG?

Anyway, I am running out of space. I had more suggestions, but you get the idea, I hope.

  • Kawasaki should have used this motor for the new klr650

  • Economy, acceleration, how can a all rounder be good at everything.

I've heard descriptions such as jack of all trades, master of none. No way I would want to take that bike for full on trail riding.

  • does everything real well and corners well. Hmmm, seems that there were a few things missed out on this review.

How does a bike with road tyres do trails well?

Nice videos, but more relevant information please

  • This information wasn't relevant to the bike?

  • I'll try and be constructive.

Reviewer had the right idea, badly let down by the terrible quality video. That is quality in terms of content. You have pictures, so why not show us the bike? All we got was flickery out of focus pics. Could have been anything.

  • I would say this is a silent bike, compared with direct rivals. It's the nr 1 item I look for in a bike and I guess this will be a good choice in that chapter. Am I right?

  • pretty crappy review.

  • super super bullshit review

  • Versys—1/4 mile: 12.96 secs. @ 99.15 mph;

    0-60 mph: 4.86 secs.

  • lol

  • Could you not fit on/off road enduro tyres on it??? pls reply

    thanks

  • I think you might be able to. I Googled "kawasaki versys" under Images, and one of the pictures I got showed dual purpose style tires on a Versys. So I think you could get at least 50/50 tires for it.

  • cheers bro!

  • I think if you are in beginner-intermediate level (like myself) and want something for a long ride or road trip + everyday city use, this bike would be very very good choice. But also do take a look at Moto Guzzi Breva, Triumph Bonny, as well as Yamaha FZ-6. They are all about same price range and at similar versatility.

  • My favorite bike !!

  • this is a great bike. They should have put this motor on the klr650

  • Lol no its not geared for off road as mutch

  • This is a lousy motorcycle review.... not everything is "super" buddy. "Brakes aren't Super aggressive"......"feels like your sitting in a chair"....."Super easy to ride"..... How about give some measurables? or positives and negatives about the bike......... Anyways.... just a waste of time. I've farted out better opinions on motorcycles.

  • Will a 6' rider look too big for this bike? Scale?

  • Super Moto ! First Kaw bike I've ever wanted to buy. Good competition for the VStrom 650 which nobody has in stock.

  • i have that shirt

  • i've had a 2007 Ninja 650R as my first bike for a month, great bike very easy to handle, ride even wheeling it is very easy (power wheelie at 30mph). I heard that Versus is different in frame and same base for the motor = parallel twin, but ignition and timing is different.

Don't take my word for it, do your research!

  • k, dude, there's a huge difference between a ninja and a versys. ninja=sportbike, versys=off-road, touring, rally, etc.

nothing about it makes it for people over 60. i doubt you even have a 650r

  • the versys and the 650r or er-6 has the same engine the same frame but different suspension. The real ninjas ( 4 cylinder sportsbike ) is a different thing. The Versys is a nice bike twisty and bad roads not a real ofroader.

  • 650r is a learner machine really.

  • not at all. ive been riding sport bikes for 7 years, and the 650 is currently my main method of transportation. its comfortable for city riding, but it has the power in lower RPMs to make riding enjoyable in the city so i dont have to be constantly shifting to keep it in the power band. it also has the handling of a much smaller bike because of the way it was designed (low COG). realistically, its about as big as you want to go for inner city commuting. I used to ride a CBR 600RR, and while

  • i admit it was an insane amount faster, riding it anywhere but the track was just an outright pain in the ass. i had to ride the clutch just to accelerate with the rest of traffic, and taking a right hand turn at speed was a joke.

  • I really hope this kind of bike is finally catching on here in the US. I ride a V-Strom 650... the Versys was a close second when I was shopping. Pay attention all you would-be harley and sportbike posers, this is a "riders bike." If you want to RIDE and not just pose, get a bike like this.

  • how are people that ride sportbikes "posers"?

  • No, not all. But posers like sportbikes. Not bashing sportbikes at all... I own a VFR, which is about as sporty a bike as I care to own.

  • yeah. i love sportbikes and i was lookin at the FZ-6 which really isnt a full sportbike. its kinda like the versys.

  • As I understand it, the FZ-6 is a street-tuned sportbike like Kawasaki's ZZR-600.

The Suzuki V-Strom is like a Versys, but I hear it's better offroad.

  • I thought posers like Harley.

  • super super super..... shit lol

  • what's wrong? didn't get enough love from your mommy? don't be so bitter "true fucking player". my ass... you a playa? that's funny dude. okay okay, so maybe you are. I wouldn't know cuz i don't know you. but... hm. let's see. with all these whores running around, it doesn't take much to be a "playa". so what makes you special? puhaha. I've been with my share of girls, but I don't announce it in the way of a cheesy ass unser name on youtube!

  • shut the fuck up fucking piece of shit lol

  • yea super!!! :P

  • Damn guys get yourself a tripod.

  • This guy needs to learn some more adjectives.

  • hell yeah!

  • It is in the same category as the new Tiger and Suzuki's DL650 - sport adventure, but no or very little off road capability. I saw many of these in Europe. I hope they do well in the USA. Nice video.

  • Thank's for the heads up guys

  • Pretty interesting bike. Thanks for the review!

  • How about a 2008 Yamaha R1 review. Do you guys know if they fixed the so called "glitch" with the throttle in second gear at 5,500 rpm?
