I also love the song "Legacy" It is almost a celebration of the continued battle to save other children from this easily preventable fate. Many have been safed due to teen volunteer life gauards, even watching over the smaller pools makes a huge diffrence and legislation to ensure the drains are replaced. I normaly would not trusr politicians but the family themselves say they have had some sucess but more fights continue ahead.

I no longer watch any of the Final Destination movies. They made a bit part based off this. To hell with them. This is not funny. @Ionagraingermusic Her sister's a swimmer...we're on the same swim team. I'm pretty sure Abbey was a swimmer with Grace as well, but I didn't become friends with Grace until after Abbey died, so I never knew her. All of us wear caps to support Abbey, though.

@mama3183 the drains did have quite a gravitational pull, meaning that because the small intestines are only a small way away from the rectum, when she was above the drain, gravity kicked in.

R.I.P. Abigail, you were a gorgeous little girl, and you had a life ahead of you, which was filled with endless possibilities, if only pool manufacturers had thought of gravity laws and payed attention in biology, you would never have had to suffer that. .....So many kids have died though swim pool accidents, like in my country, (UK) girl got her long hair caught in the suction duct on the pool side wall, some quick thinking pool attendant used scissors to cut her hair & saved her, others not quite so lucky have died in the just mentioned.
