e.g. lets say your 1 rep max is 400lbs. pick 75% of that weight allowing 10 strict, slow controlled reps no back arching or pausing for more than a second. then next time you use the same weight you may manage 11 then 12 etc. 6 weeks later you will do 20-30 reps with that weight, STEROID TYPE GROWTH WILL SHOW. BUT THE PAIN WILL BE UNBEARABLE TO GO BEYOND.
