this definitely sound like a bond song. was it intended as the MAIN theme for Living Daylights? or was it meant as just one of the songs for the movie's soundtrack?? it's nothing outstanding though.
lol...I was 12 yrs old when I first saw this in 98'. This song came on the radio the other day and the first thing that came to mind was freakin NECROS!!!!
True however, and that is why John Barry incorporated it into the score of many scenes, unlike previous Bond movies where the main theme was used in several scenes.
I have just heard the instrumental Living Daylights John Barry's theme, this is more similar to the Movie Main Theme, A-ha's CD version is so different.
@ChuckyBlackheart this is played whenever necros is wearing his headphones, but an orchestrated action theme was written by john barry which plays ina few other parts of the film: search The Living Daylights ''Necros Attacks''
Great movie, my second favourite (FRWL is #1). Dalton was the best Bond actor, some may say he was too good for the role. Connery is the most graceful, and he was the original one. As for Lazenby, I don't think he was an underrated actor. Actually, he wasn't an actor at all. I must browse IMDB in order to find other movies with him. Craig ? he's a good actor, would make a great henchman.
I'm glad I found this song, always heard it in the movie.That guy always was listening to it on his headphones. Never knew it was the Pretenders. Good song and this is my second best Bond movie.
@brotkasten83 I was going to disagree with you, but you can't really say which one was better definativly. Each actor who has portrayed Bond has brought his own style to the character & movies. I prefer SC personally (mainly because of being the original), but Dalton should've done more than two, both of his were exceptionally good.
@brotkasten83 Damn straight. While Connery might have been the coolest incarnation of James Bond, Dalton, along with Lazenby, was the closest to that of the book. He gave Bond that human and relatable quality that the Bond of the novels had. Dalton and Lazenby are the best and most underrated Bond actors of them all. If only their tenures hadn't been cut short.
I totally agree, but I've gotta say it's a solid bond song. I mean you don't notice it in the movies unless you mechanically watch the movies. its solid like crazy.
love the trumpet so much

For me this song should be the main opening instead of that A-HA insipid norwish cold theme.

@RomelioSanzz
That's "norwegian", not norwish.

Dalton was the best bond-actor, even better than connery. If he only could have made more than two films
