I recently got a Betta, A male crown tail. I'm nervous on what to do for him. I never dealt with tropical fish, I stuck to the cold water fish like simple goldfish. So i'm worried on what I should do, originally he wasn't going to be mine so it was an impulse saving from Walmart.
Any general advice for someone who has been spending her time in cold-water to just moving forward into warmer territory? Any essentials I should buy? I'm limited tho in range.
@tonkagarfield Relax, Bettas are pretty hardy and forgiving fish to deal with. My suggestion is to buy a mini-heater or a heater rated for your aquarium size. Other than that as long as you could keep the goldfish alive you should have no problem with a Betta.

@bettasplendens713 A local animal store called Animart. It cost about 10 dollars I believe.
