Hey Geoff and Jack, I tried to find that motel on google maps. Unfortunately, it is not there anymore. I found the area by going off of the roads around it, and although that area is still there, the Hillside motel is not. Whatever is there now is very close to the Hollywood Freeway though.

Omg game update reset my film reel statistics by five films. after I had collected 40 of them. I can't vouch for the remake having noir qualities since I haven't seen it though. If the remake is a true noir I would guess that they mean both.
