He reacted pretty well. My cousin ran away from us when we told him he was getting a baby sister. Yup. My aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, mom, grandma, and I were having a picnic when my aunt told us the good news. My cousin screams that he doesn't want a sister and runs away from us. Found him hiding under the slide at the playground in the park we were at. LOL

Daughter would not even discuss the coming baby. She'd give a dirty look and leave the room any time mentioned. We actually feared she'd hurt baby.

Kid was home for 2-3 weeks before eldest'd even LOOK at her -- when she finally did, she fell in love. I think that lasted for a few minutes before jealousy kicked in again...

They're 19 and 16 now -- still like 2 tomcats sharing a room -- *BUT* mess with little, and big will HURT you!

My four year old told my mother in law that he'd had bad dreams in case we were going to have a girl when my wife was expecting again - he was desperate for a brother to play soccer with.
