さて、私も最近まで誤解していたのですが、"the end"の意味は、どうやら「最後」ではなく、「末端」と言う意­味ではとのこと。

アジアの端っこの日本と言う国ですが、文化、歴史、人と世界に誇­れる国ではないでしょうか。

私も国を憂いています。
