  • True with all our technology, I have yet to see a restaurant menu in brale. Keep the vision strong as many of us are unemployed and rejected from society.

  • Don't forget the mentally disabled.

  • Well worth watching

  • Stevie wonder is truly wonderful

  • How we can sleep.

  • He is such an amazing role model, but look at his teeth as he talks..he has vampire sharp canines..cant unsee

  • Thats a great speech Mr. Wonder.

  • @jarred agreed

  • I like his songs!

  • If 1 billion worldwide are disabled, then that is 1 in 7 people. The UN has a broad definition, which would include virtually all elderly as well -- incredible satellite view of earth at night ; Balkingpoints / com

  • hmmm

  • I really enjoyed the comment Stevie made about the world being blinder than a blind man. Soul baby and Steve has it.

  • why is there only one comment?

  • It looks like he was shot above his right eye and it exited out the back of the crown of his head, but i cant be sure because i dont know.

  • Nice. A VIDEO for blind people...

  • I don't understand, does shitty music count as a disability?

  • Unfortunately there are more people who don't give a damn about the disabled over the people who share his vision. That's the problem of society.

  • Stevie has more humanity than most of us. I wish more humans had love in their hearts. The problem is that people are corrupted by money and power. Once that is all that matters in life the kindness and love in those peoples soul is buried so deep that trying to appeal to their inner kindness is nearly impossible. I wish your message was plastered on TV as much as the Pop stars gossip - but people are losing what really matters - torn by differences and fighting for survival - its truly sad!

  • he is a legend

  • Huh? What is he rambling on about? Ignoring his "it makes no sense to me that paralyzed people can't walk wherever they want to" comment, what in shits name does space travel have anything to do with curing deafness and what human has traveled beyond the moon? What in fucks name is he talking about? Seriously, how much more accessible can we make this world? We can't cure blindness, deafness or any other physical ailments.

  • My Comments are never on top =/

  • I say this in a good way and with no Insult, Mr. Stevie Wonder is the blind leading the blind. Their are plenty of smart and wonderful people that can do great things but are excluded because of their disability.

  • instead of making a world that needy people can access freely, i think we should make prosthetic that make those needy people like us normal people. eyes, ears, whatever.

  • Try Bronnicov's method, to be able to see without eyes.

  • ghhh

  • how about captioning this correctly so that deaf/hard of hearing people can understand what is being said. Google auto captions = fail

  • I'm disabled and things and I believe that there is way of saving everyone. Thank you Mr. Wonder!

  • nice

  • Great musician back in the 70's, but like any other powerful man, when I'd met him in the mid-90's, he was just another man cheating on his wife. Are all great men adulterers?

Or just the ones that think they can get away with it?

  • inner visions

  • Indeed

  • I've always loved Mr. Wonder's music especially The Secret Life of Plants, and now he's even more of an inspiration to me and my daughter, who was born blind.

  • first

  • A very nice video

  • Great work sir! Now i am even more dedicated fan of yours then was in Part-Time lover.

  • How ironic International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and there's no captions for the deaf.

  • I never thought of stevie wonder as diable or helpless. A true american with freedom to succeed.

  • Yes. In all ways. No anger. No aggression.

  • Stevie wonder is a fine musician that rose up as a free american on his own merit. He coulnt have done this through the u.n. Almost all the gov officials at the u.n. Are disabling their own people. Freedon for all people is the goal. Stevie please tell them your accomplishments and freedom was not bestowed on you by the grace of a government but by the grace of God...freedom lol

  • hi

  • hi

  • You inspire people

  • Everyone has the authority to have power over something.

  • Thank you for being part of the effort to fight for the rights of people with disabilities. It is awesome, to know that your name will help bring a brighter light to the injustice that people with disabilities face everyday. I do not have a disability, but have been actively doing my small part as a director of a disability ministry for 7 years. This fight is unfortunately difficult, considering how many people have a disability or know a person with one. May this fight continue to grow.

  • hem vidionya berkualitas serta misi dan visi vidio ini cocok dngan karakter Aplikasi symbian blog

  • I love this man!

  • What

  • What even the UN has youtube?

  • Its rocking ya

  • nothing says "I'm better than you," like pity.

  • I don't put much faith into politics or the rich and powerful to fix anything b/c it's probably a ruse... However that being said I am autistic, for so long disability grievances from "abled" society has boiled down to a condescending pity party, labelling all disabled ppl under 1 banner and making no distinctions btw functioning levels, disabled ppl were treated more as charity cases than equal human beings. Disabled ppl are still very much segregated from ms society. (continued)

  • I'm special needs adult, I have aspergers syndrome I'm deaf in one ear makin me deaf to negative remarks others give me and I'm also legally blind meanin I only see the positive side of life

  • Focus on "what people can contribute to nation-building".Empowering people with disabilities will make them more productive and thus improve their self-esteem.Each one of us, regardless of disability, has our own strengths & weaknesses & so let's help one another. All of us have similar needs.People with exceptionalities are assets not liabilities. They remind us how lucky we are bec. we can see, hear & talk properly. It's easy to say that we are humans but not many of us know how to become one.

  • nice we can help others..nice video...

  • Interesting

  • Hey look its Bleeding-Gums Murphy!!

  • Water Helen water haha

  • Hey

  • Even though this is fairly old, it's nice to see that there is at least one person [in the media] that even cares. Thank you, Mr. Wonder.
