I intentionally look for work that's further away, because "commuting" is a good excuse for an extended ride. Unfortunately, I currently work only 20 minutes from my house. :-(
Actually, I was on my way -to-work when I shot that video. :-) I didn't find the job I'm in now; it found me--and I couldn't be happier. I love my job, even though I'm not so crazy about the commute sometimes.
In South Florida, we have a "monsoon" season lasting from roughly June through early October--it's the only change of season we have down here. During the monsoon season (which also encompasses hurricane season) it almost always pours in the afternoon. Blecch.
Thanks for sharing. I commute on my LT from Fellsmere, Fl to Jupiter, FL but I do it at night so I don't think it would make a nice video like your's. Where do you have your sunpass on the bike? I wish the sunpass mini would work with motorcycles.
