  • That's not true that if a coupon sounds to good to be true it is. Because Frito Lay gave away hundreds of thousands of FREE COUPONS on facebook so that's not true and no it wasn't that coupon on this show.

  • They have to prove intent so it's not illegal. If the products weren't overpriced, people wouldn't be committing the fraud.

  • How is receiving something free of charge wasting money?

  • Can't be forwarded it copied?? Print screen mother fuckers

  • @PERAGR0 hell yah

  • that guy talks like a faggot

  • I use a coupon bar and the coupon alerts. I can print 2 coupons per computer for the internet coupons. So, I call everyone I know and ask them to print them too. And there are long term coupons, they don't all expire soon, and some do not expire at all. Story is so wrong in so many ways.

  • cant print a coupon more than 1 time? cant copy or forward it?

do you have any idea how to use a computer?

  • @cmanclan101 no they dont LOL

  • You can print a coupon up to 2 times per computer!!! Not ONCE!

  • HOLY SHIT IVE SEEN THIS COUPON

  • It's free, faggot. Who cares about the companies?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't give 2 shits about big companies like Frito-Lay. I'm not stealing from working employees, I'm stealing from the billion dollar corporate bigshot. Instead of deterring me from using fake coupons, this man just confirmed with me that they work like a charm.

  • OP is a fag

  • Dear diary, today OP was a faggot.

  • Frito-Lay CAN NOT lose money from this.

Retailers are the only parties that are victims of theft in their building.

  • What is that guy doing on NBC? He is on my local ABC station.

  • It's only illegal if it goes through. Pay in cash and no one will ever catch you.

  • Complete and total bullshit. You cannot be charged for this. If you are, you would easily win in court. It is not the responsibility of the consumer to verify the validity of coupons, it is the responsibility of the store which accepts the coupon.

  • Actually compnays DO give out free coupons Dumbasses

LOL I get TONS of them in the Mail form the Mfg

  • how is it your'e fault.

  • You know, with as much as the corporations steal from the consumers...do I really feel bad?? NO....NOOOOOOO. NOOOOO I DON'T.

  • @AudioInklined my thoughts exactly!

  • Disagree with title. You weren't the one who created the fake coupon, it was passed onto you as being a legit coupon. You're an innocent party and the one at fault is the one who made the coupon in the first place.

That said, using fake coupons is a big problem and we should take steps to prevent this in the first place, and always look for signs of fraud.

  • BS, you print out the coupon and stick it in the scanner and just print out a million more haha dumbassesssss :)

  • I don't understand how it's "wasting your money".

Whether the coupons work or not you haven't lost anything.

  • i have free ps3 coupons lmao and free 4 pack of monsters

  • God damn im glad as a bitch this video only has 519 views =-) hahaha

  • lol Ive gotten 100s of dollars in free stuff from fake coupons. ranging from dr pepper and 5 gum to a new xbox 360 250gbhd and 5 12 month membership cards. Ive gotten called out on fakes before but just say wow that sucks, just throw it away then. And plus self checkout is major bank since no one checks at places like k mart.

  • @bobymicjohn

any other tips u wanna give out ;-P

  • at 0:44 you say "Frito-Lay is losing millions of dollars" and then later in the 'report' you say "it's stealing from grocers". Well they don't BOTH pay for the bag of chips, so you're really lying to your viewers. More business as usual from local news outlets. Doesn't THAT stink?

  • @Snick422 Manufacturers pay grocers the amount afforded by the coupon.

  • @docwatsonphd i'm very aware of how coupons work, thank you.

so what the news report is implying is that when you use a fake coupon, the store AND the manufacturer pay for the bag of chips, instead of just the store taking the hit OR the company giving out free product. Doesn't add up.

  • @Snick422 You're assuming that the manufacturers pay out for EVERY coupon no matter what, when I'm certain that isn't the case. Thus the manufacturer loses money for paying out those first many coupons, and then grocer loses after taking those coupons when the manufacturer says "we aren't taking these anymore"

  • @Snick422 Frito-Lay doesn't lose shit. The grocery store buys it from them.

  • Yo, don't arrest us for trying to save money. We ALL know that EVERYONE wants to save money on things, god please. :P you do not want me to go slaughter everyone right?
