The scene were Lt. Dan & Forrest were in the storm it actually happened many years ago.... a curupt captain who didn't care about any1 or anything was in his ship with his workers on deck and out of the blue a storm came, God made this happen bc he wants every1 to be 1 with Him. Every1 on the ship got out except the capt, he was screaming at God saying "kill me" but God doesn't kill. After the storm the capt. Reflected on why he survived. And he made peace with God. ( the captain had legs )

This movie is truly inspiring. Not only has it taught us how life can be so beautiful, I feel that it taught us values such as appreciating life, and i realised how most of us are guilty of being too obsessed trying everything to achieve success that we often lose ourselves in it and forget how to appreciate our own lives at some point.

Though Forrest Gump is a fictional character, I have no qualms in saying that he is now my idol & role model. Magnificent film.
