It's possible to play the bumblebee that fast.

1) He's playing with the mute pedal ( making the note a bit easier to pull ).

2) By practicing you can reach that speed

And he is saying it's a practice. No need to play it with pedals, emotions or anything else in a practice. I'd like to hear the bumblebee with more expressions. But anyway, it is well done. Keep it up. Enjoyed your playing.

It looks fake to me. The Bumblebee especially. The return of the keys to fully upright is too fast for a real video. The Tchaikovsky could be real, but a) quite insensitive and b) bad piano.

Maybe but lifting slowly is easy. Watch his hand release and fall 'superfast' after the final chord of the 'Grieg' bit about 35. That's some impressive acceleration due to to gravity. He's clearly not 'pulling' it down, because you see it is relaxed. Try the hands 'easing' onto the lap at speed at 3.26.

Also, look at the way his mum speeds across the room, when she stands up, on his other piano video.

You sad prick. Shame you haven't learned anything anout the possibilities of the piano in those 26 years. Not surprising that you're so bitter. This is perfectly feasible. I play the Cziffra arrangement myself, which features various chords within the l.h. octaves at the same speed. Go and listen to Cziffra perform it. Interlocking octaves sound twice as fast as they are really played. That's the only trick here.

Okay, changed my mind. After hearing the Tchaikovsky it's clearly fake. Nobody could play the lyrical section quite so unmusically if that done in real time. I'd be more embarrased for this to be real than fake, after hearing that bit. The speed of the octaves is feasible though. Listen to Cziffra. It's possible to do it, even though this film is fake.

All over the internet I think. It's usually from the Peters version vol 1(the dictation for vol 2 is not accurate at all though). You can get it as 2 concert studies from Editio Musica Budapest. He wrote that one down himself.
