  • Dr Ore's parents where members of my Dad's church in Iowa, he came to give a recital on our Hinner's tracker organ what a pleasure in the middle of nowhere

  • Great recording. This is one of my favorite hymns and I often play it on the organ. However, my skills are no where near that of the artist in this recording.

  • Bravo! A tribute to God...

  • The quality of the recording is perhaps the best I've ever heard. So clear, no distortion, dynamics and tone seem unaffected from what it would've sounded like live, VERY NICE!

  • I was one of his students, also! What a blessing to me! I enjoy his creative style with hymn tunes!

  • Dr. Ore played for our wedding 23 years ago. It was a pleasure to listen to him every Sunday.

  • I used to work with Charles Ore. Imagine hearing this great stuff twice each Sunday!

  • It is an amazing instrument and the virtuosity of the organist is in no doubt. But to a layman like me I so want to hear it thunder out the hymn in a form that I can recognise and sing along with. 2.41 is kind of where I like it!

  • 2:41 to 3:04 = sheer amazingness!

  • 2:41 WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Um arranjo muito especial do Hino CASTELO FORTE, oficial das igrejas protestantes no mundo inteiro. Magistral!!!

  • Heaven will have 10,000 pipe organs...glorious pipe organs. I promise!

  • @doothless That and more! And Angels that can out-sing them!

  • I wish I could go play this organ right now. I love hearing amazing instruments like this. Hopefully I will master in music and go places and play new instruments like this one

  • 2:17 !!!!!!! EPIC WIN

  • Tip for all fellow YouTubers:

At the end of the url address listed in your address bar add the following: &fmt=18 and press enter, this will enhance the sound.

  • @ARFRC1 I tried this and could detect no difference. Maybe it's my 6 year old computer

  • One of the best contemporary arrangements of Luther's classic hymn...Charles Ore always puts a fresh twist on the oldies but goodies. Check out his "What A Friend We Have In Jesus"...more of a concert piece, depending on your church...

    Nice playing.

  • If there isn't a pipe organ in heaven, I'm not staying!

  • @jensmom604 where the hell you going?

I'll build my own if there isn't one already.

  • The melody is in there someplace.... ;(

  • THANK GOD MOLLER organs are making a come aroud great video thank you.

  • Great organ, but they need to re do the acoustics that place!

  • Its the best we got =]. i work on sound at that church and we recently, this year installed 65 acoustic panels in various places around the balconies and the ceiling so we're working on it

  • precious, in the strictest sense.

  • i go to that church and i must say it is a privelage hearing that organ play on sunday mornings

  • That was beautiful!

  • This was a great CD

  • Although these are nice photos, I would prefer to have seen a video of the organist playing this piece.

  • I totally agree. It is always best to see the organist plays these enormous organs.

  • i've played this organ, and attempted this piece of music on the organ, VERY complicated piece it's in 15/16 time signature

  • What an impressive organ!

  • Jeez, that thing must be a beast 2 play!!

  • the first time i havent seen the invisible organist ? or does it have a keyframe?

  • would love to hear and see the organ... great... james mchone

  • 2:16 kinda made me jump.

  • they had me at 2:42

  • Very nice playing, I have always loved this piece! Dr. Ore was my organ teacher!!!

  • He was my organ teacher too! I learned this piece with him. God love him.

  • Wow, this must be one of the best Möller organs ever;

too bad it was one of their last. Thanks for the higher-quality sound, also!

  • I have had the pleasure of hearing this organ in a concert. Are the free concerts still available?

  • I was there the night this organ was dedicated. A friend of mine helped design this organ. He and his wife were both accomplished organist.

  • Would that be the Chennaults?

  • @ncguy27713 Does this organ still get played? I understand there is no organist on staff anymore.

  • @4902STEVEN It is still played. There is an part-time organist on staff and the monthly recitals were brought back.

  • I'm looking for a piece of music I heard years ago. It was on a classical compilation CD which I know had some Gershwin on it.

The track I'm interested in had some organ in it it but sounded a little 'jazzy' and perhaps mediterranean and romantic.

I really can't remember much about it except I couldn't stop playing it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Please?!
