"Remake Remodel" is an incredible performance...same with "In Every Dream Home a Heartake". These Iconic "Musikladen" performances are now being deleted....so check them out now before they are gone.
Thanks for uploading this. Its my absolute favourite version of a much loved song. Wish Ednah, Michelle and Yannick were still touring with Bryan and Roxy.

So many younge people in particular..are saying, "I love Roxy, but did not know them before..." Radio listen on them on a classics radio station,.. or films like...."Flashback of a Fool...."
It's rediculous that Roxy are rated in the bottom 100 of Rolling stones mag. ratings.
It's unbelivable, as Roxy had 4 major hit albums in Europe, in a row...and massive sale with following albums.. but in America are only really known for Avalon..and similar period works. It seems to me radio rules the US
@Kristopful Yes sad but true, Roxy Music were a highly influential music group over this side of the atlantic with a music style that was unique and influenced a generation, but Bryan Ferry made little impact over in the states as a solo artist which is often the way with British music, with a few exceptions.
The only better thing they did was "If there is Something", which is very difficult to find. David Bowie did it also but Bryan's version has more passion.
Thanks for that Yanick. I was watching you the other day on the Roxy Music "Live At The Hammersmith Apollo" DVD. You've got a great voice. Although I prefer the early Roxy Music, Avalon is a fine album. Thanks, and good luck!
@ScooterGirl9988 I have a lie size mannequin named Olivia and and inflatable one as well (as yet unnamed). The two are the best of friends. Did this doll they are singing about have a name?
I wish i for once in my life could get money enough to go and see Bryan live! He comes to Sweden now and then but... my lack of money... Very great version of this fantastic song! Thanks FelicitasS66 :-)
Have you never seen Bryan Ferry, live? I feel so bad, I've seen him four times, once with Roxy Music in 2001. There's never been anyone like him, the ultimate perfectionist, such class...hope you see him someday :))
I saw Bryan twice during this time period. Both times in Chicago, once I believe, at the Arie Crown Theatre. I rememember that at the start of the show, he had two urns slowly burning incense. For me, it meant sit back, relax, and listen to the rhythms of the gods. This was the highlight of both shows.
Hey, I saw the same show at Arie Crown, Intense show is all I can say, especially this song. Seeing Roxy Music in 2001 was awesome, I didn't think I would ever get to see them together again :))
I agree - great version and the guitar work is excellent. On his most recent tour (some 20 years later!), Bryan played the piano when performing this song - still amazing!!
I would love to know who the other musicians are on this stage with Bryan. Everyone here needs some credit. It's a fantastic 7 minutes of heaven...

невообразимо-запредельно-нечеловечески прекрасная песня!
и музыка, и лирика, и голос - всё в ней мозговзрывательно!

You think there are some decent bands around now, then you rewind 30+ years and see what Roxy and Bowie were doing.

This isn't a cover! It's Bryan Ferry's quite famous ode to an inflatable doll.
