  • i live in cali.. but idk were to buy a dj equipment can anyone help

  • @geniousdeeson where in Cali do you live?

  • Ah I get it. This must be the expertvillageidiot. I hope he didnt actually prepare his speech ahead of time, some pretty obvious stuff there.

  • i think this video goes out for all thoose who saw scooter on MTV, decided to be a ProDJ and were like "lets see on youtube what I need to be a ProDJ" Wooow this video is wrong in so many ways :D

  • When he says "knowledge of your music" I think he means how each song is structured. As a CD DJ, you may only have the vaguest idea what is coming up in the song. If you don't know, it can hurt BAD. During a live set it really sucks to get caught with your pants down like that. You also have to read the crowd and pick your next song at the same time, but if you don't know where the song goes then your idea of what should come next can change. It's a lot to learn.

  • @mistamustard

Old comment, I know, but man, if you don't know your tracks, you're fucked. But when you even know basic song structure, you should know how to mix regardless of the track coming up. Some of my best sets I have done without knowing the tracks I was spinning at all, just doing it all by artists and knowing their particular style.

  • you suck mr superman!

  • man, i have been following all your videos cause i thought this was a joke.. now i see that this shit is for real...

if this Jiffpacker is a leading expert like those "expert village" (i think it's a real village, yeah with cows, chickens, windmills and all that) then we are fucking screwed.

    Best Regards

  • omgg these vilage idiots are well um...... fuckin IDIOTS! if i ever saw one of these dudes in a club i would punch him in the face for bein a complete dumbass

tryin to say you need certain skillz n shit...

just have fun and practice and practice and practice and love practicing and then fuck idk practice sommore? and then once youve dont that your skillz as a dj will com to you.. you dont come in game with all the skills wtf?? wat kind of shit is that

  • I dont deny that djing can be a job profession.

Its just some of the requirments are not needed.

  • being a dj is so underated, i hate that

  • Oh! my lord you make djing sound like a job requirment lol djing is a musical art form

there is no need to be consern about those things when having fun and interacting with the crowd is all you have to do.

  • Really though, it is a job.

  • Oh yeaah... you suck my friend, good djs don't care about the region, good djs are selected for their ability to select releases. First of all, it's about YOU! You are the one who plays, you have to select a genre that matches your senses, it's not about the genre that makes a specific geographical location, go up in down.. If you like minimal, as an example, and your minimal selection is top-class, then you will be selected for minimal events.. where crowd feels exactly as you, what you play..

  • Your a WANKAR!

  • WOW ANTHER DJ TUTOR!

  • you discovered america xD

  • does anyone else notice that expertvillage videos are completely useless and only tell common sense stuff that you already knew?

  • they really sucks

  • Its probably for beginners...Just a thought.

  • and are all about 1 minute.

  • come to think of it...there all for beginners in what ever there teaching,i think us djs just find them after weve been spinning for a year lol

theyd have worked if i found em BEFORE i got my kit lawlzerzzz

  • @DevilDogDupre

Sometimes people needs to get reminded about the simple things^^

Basics is good to know GOOOD to become beter, Pro ice hockey players still train skating even tho they are pro :)

  • thanks man its my goal in life to be the #1 dj in the world i no i can do it keep those lessons coming pleasee ur helping
