  • I never knew there was a cartoon based on this toyline. I remember seeing these toy as a kid. My parents wouldn't buy my brother and I any of them because they thought the wings looked too fragile and that we would break them in no time.

  • toys were cool as fuck, put your hand in the insect they rode on to use as a puppet

  • I hear the voices of Destro, Optimus Prime, Shipwreck, Springer, and some from the robotix series as well....

  • I think these toys never really took off because even the good guys are creepy as fuck.

  • aw man i remember this came on channel 21 in fort worth,tx back in the 80s didnt last long tho'

  • "Glow-Friends" for boys.

  • YEAH I HAD SOME OF THE COMICS TO SECTAURS I FORGOT THIS WAS ON I HARDLY REMEMBER IT

  • YEAH I HAD SOME OF THE COMICS TO SECTAURS

  • THIS WAS DA SHIT...LOVE IT

  • I didn't know this story began with so much tragedy. Some top scientists were working on a breakthrough discovery to try and improve their society, but as a result they were horribly mutated into insectoid creatures, and chaos ravaged the planet. Couldn't they have just had it take place on an alient bug planet? I can't believe anyone would try to make light of that kind of situation.

  • @culturaleyes I initially thought the same thing. Why not just make it a battle between good & evil on a insect evolved alien world, but I think that the shows creators were trying to make a point about real scientist engaging in dangerous experiments like nuclear energy, which was a real hot button topic in the '80s.

  • Muy buenos videos ,No como los de hoy.

  • it's a great toy line! I have all of them

  • Damn!!! I almost forgot about this cartoon till I found some old comics that I had

laid away talk about straight from the vault Im proud to be a 80's kid.

  • @kingp05 I didn't know that there was a Sectaurs comic. Who published it? Do you know how many issues?

  • i'm a late 60's baby and i still remember this.to be a 80's baby u have to born in the 80's

  • 4:52 - Why did he kick his bug for no reason and why are such important papers just lying around?

  • Hi Madkid99. I have viewed the Sectaurs cartoons. It has been so long since I have seen them. Do you have the last three episodes posted? I do not see them.

  • whoa i heard optimus prime! lol recycled 80s voice actors

  • YOU MAGGOTS!

  • Skulk and Trancula were my faves. I had all the action figures. Only thing I didn't have was the fortress of the Dark Domain. In fact, I still have Skulk and Trancula!

  • this was a very underrated cartoon and toy line, i went through alot of fazes as a child, i was into he-man, then voltron, then sectaurs, then gi joe and transformers and had alot of toys from all these.

  • Wow, I also had the toys from this. Although even then, I vaguely remembered the show

  • My word, I hope the toys were better than the cartoon. This is REALLY corny. (BTW, I really like a lot of old cartoons)

  • Ahhhh memories memories memories.

  • But then again my dad really enjoyed watching THE FLY. I didn't get it.

  • I loved this, Mom and Dad didn't like me having these toys because they looked to freakish and real.

  • WOW! What a blast from the past! I had every toy in this series. The hive was awesome! I liked the villans much better in this series, I mean I was like 5 and into catching bugs and these toys were GIANT BUGS!! Ah the memories! The toys and toons from the 80's from my child hood were hands down the best, second to none!!

  • I remember this!!

  • Skito alway treated Toxic like shit. These are some of the best toys from the 80's loved them!

  • I remember this when i was 4 years old had the toys

  • This show was not long lived at all, think there were only 6 episodes, i had them all on tape, then about a month later my dad taped over it with an episode of the golden girls for my mom /cry.

i had all the toys including the hive.... wish i could go back.

  • the voice of mantor is optimus prime what a rip off is like we cant tell shut we know prime

  • @willjavtor Uh...they're not trying to "fool" anyone, that's the voice of Peter Cullen - a very popular voice actor in the 80's who was in pretty much every major cartoon. Yes, he was Optimus Prime. He was also a ton of other characters on other shows.

  • @Zaranyzerak and isn't Spidrax's voice the actor who did Destro fromGIJoe?

  • @youngrebels75 Yep, Arthur Burghardt. Another voice actor who did a ton of cartoon voices back then. Destro being his most famous (and AWESOME), by far!

  • I think the one thatdoes voice for General Spidrax is the one that does for Destro in G.I.Joe.

  • thanks for posting this. I always wanted to get the figures when I was a kid, but they were just too expensive, and I rather buy a Transformer. Anyway, these episodes bring back memories

  • I had the toys from this. They were great! Giant bug puppets that your figures rode on. What a great toy line.

  • yup..i had them all..except tfor he Giant hive..lol

  • @CodeBlue40 Yup! I had the toys too! Compeletly unique and fun! The cartoon was good too, but a bit short-lived! Man, I love being an 80's kid, WE had the BEST, unlike what these poor kids have today!

  • The guy who did the voice for Titmat did the voice in this too.

  • I had this on tape when I was a kid. Damn, I didn't remember it being this cheesy!

  • Wow...never knew Sectaurs had a series! Pretty interesting! Anyone notice the voice of Optimus Prime in this episode?

  • Yeah, Peter Cullen spoke for Mantor of the goodguys. He also spoke for the beginning of Voltron

  • Man I had like all the figures for thise

  • Damn Ur taking back.

  • I have Dargon and Dragonflyer.

  • I had the Hyve and Spiderflier...they were my fave toys after HeMan!

  • I had the dragoflyer!! It fit on ur hand like a glove, turn it on and the wings flapped! Cool toy, short lived cartoon.

  • I had completely forgoten this existed!!

  • Unholy Shit, I just heard my favorite Jewish Transformer, Optimus Prime aka Peter Cullen!

  • Yes,this is the voice of Mentor (sp)

  • @Zoloft77 sho' nuff.i remember tht voice anywhere as well as the voice of Galvatron G1.

  • @Zoloft77 sho' nuff.i remember tht voice anywhere as well as the voice of Galvatron G1.and Destro

  • Wow, did I just see farmers growing mary jane in a cartoon? Good Go... I mean God Satan, you don't see toons like that anymore. ;)

  • Damn it!

Do you know how long ive been tryin to remember what the hell this was called. Thanx for posting this.

I remember th commercials would be mini series....

  • A live action movie of this would be so cool!!

Had the figures as a kid and loved them..

  • This seems sort of familiar to Spider Riders

  • Wow! i loved this when i was a kid back then. this, transformers, visionaries, mask and the gobots rocks!!!

  • There were only five episodes made.

  • I never got to see the cartoon, but I had Prince Dargon figure, and several of the comics. The first comic even had the Symbion Alphabet.

  • I had these toys, they was awesome.

  • Thanks for posting this. :-)

  • i had the toys. I remember i had this gigantic fly with an action figure and underneath the fly was a thin glove where you would place your hand.

very rare shit, good find bro.

  • PETER CULLEN B!TCHES!!

  • Yeah, this just proves that he was in everything.

  • wow, this is one of the only cartoons where the toy actually looked better than the show, lol!

  • Hello where the hell is the DVD for this show? All our other great ones are coming out lets get this made.

  • Great to see this again! I'd almost given up hope of it being on YouTube. Well done, madkid99! :-)

  • Another of ruby-spears' underrated shows.

  • Awesome, thanks for uploading! Maybe a Sectaurs live action movie one of these days? I think it could be pretty cool...

  • "How do you like that, maggots!" LOL! It was so much fun to watch this. I collected the toys and read the Marvel comics when I was a kid, but I've never seen this show until now. Thanks! (Incidentally, that's gotta be Mr. Optimus Prime himself, Peter Cullen, voicing Mantor, right?)

  • The Sectaurs Warriors Of Symbion was awesome. I think the voice of Spidrax was the same guy behind the Voice of Destro from G.I.Joe and the voice of Prince Dargon is known other than the guy who voiced Spidey in Spider-Man and his amazing friends.

  • The voice actor for Spide-Man also did G1 Bumblebee.

  • You know i actually kinda feel sorry for Toxin. He tries and tries and all he gets is kicked!

  • HOLY HELL!!! no way can't belive you have this! i've searching for some kinda of clip or a video on this show!!!! so happy right now, thank yo!

  • More 2 come....Just Wait!!!

  • Oh God! I never thought I would see this superb cartoon of my childhood again... I thought I dreamt about it!

  • Madkid99 I am totally feeling this 80's relic. I'm a huge Sectaurs fan till this day I was only a year old when this show hit and even though I never saw it I collected all the figures and comics. But I never caught the show so this is a treat. You just gotta post the rest, I'll be waiting!

  • Yo, the toys were made by Colleco, right?

  • Yeah they were! Check ebay, there really well made and they still kick ass even by todays standerds so check em out you won't regret it. Just yesterday I poped in some battires in Spiderflyer and Draragonfly and they both still work! If thats not craftsmanship

    I don't know what is.

  • Word, i alway's wanted to get my hand on some Sectaurs

  • The commericals were a mini story themselves.

  • God tell me you have the rest of these. I used to own the Hyve when I was a kid. I never thought I'd see any of them again. I still got most of the toys in boxes somewhere. Damn they were built well. If only the elbows had joints like their knees do =P
