Oh yeah, then there were all the multitude of angled shots where they were somehow able to tilt up and down. The ONLY way to get tilt angles like that would be if you were within a couple FEET of the people with the cameraman having an unobstructed shot (in clear view).

And then there's the downward angles from THE VIEWPOINT of the "gag victim".

Are they to expect us to believe they also planted a camera on the person pulling down the flower?

You don't hand something to someone by holding it directly above them so they have to reach straight up. Not unless you are holding it with the intention of dropping it on them.
