@rockking1995 Yes, my guitar has a scallop neck. A scallop neck can help strings bending and vibrato more easier because your finger can fill in the scallop gap. You can bending easily and firmly. However it won't helps you play faster, at first time you may feel it weird because the guitar neck don't have fingerboard to support your finger anymore but don't worry, if you play it about couple week, you'll get used to it.

at 1.45 Xj86 plays what I call a harmonic minor run in the 3rd position - the tab I have says Yngwie is playing 8-7-5-4 on the g string which would be perfect 7 followed by a flatted 7 which would not seem to be right? so it should probably be 8-5-4 ?anyone agree??

@guitarralaraja I am not sure we are on the same page - I understand Yngwie is playing the song in E tuned down to E flat - so the "8" on the g stg is a perfect 7 which is then followed by "7" (according to my tabs and XJ86) which would be a FLATTED 7 .. I am not saying that is wrong-- I just thought it was odd--

BECAUSE IN THE BASE the bass is playing a Am, so he could be playing Am minor or A harmonic m, or E7 or E,,, but he's playing some sot of E harmonic minr,,, so what about the minor6 and 3? is he using both?

@MrEllinaras I think maybe from Dimarzio HS-3 and SHARK Moo Kalei distortion pedal. It's a handmade pedal in my hometown in THAILAND, you can check it out at Tuimusic. It's a bit less treble but it great assort with bright guitar as Fender and it has a lot of gain despite that dimarzio hs-3 has very low output.
