  • You thought Los Angeles was bad. One time I was inside an N.Y. subway car that was nearly empty when this bum got on and started peeing in a corner of the car. He then zipped up his zipper then proceeded to exit at the next stop. The few riders acted as though nothing happened. What a town.

  • Yeah she does get annoying everytime I get on the metro she's always saying things

  • that lady who always sings she always cuzing a fight everytime...cuz she annoys people...

  • If this is your idea of crazy... don't go to Chicago, lest you encounter what crazy is. This lady is simply nice and eccentric.

  • This may sound crazy. But, I think this woman in the pink sweater actually approached me one time and asked if I believed in Jesus, for which I answered "YES". This happened a few years ago. But, when I gave her the answer, she started talking in tongues at me and said "JESUS LOVES YOU". LOL! :)

  • This same lady caused a brawl between two people with her singing. Vid on youtube is called "Hollywood Subway Train Fight"!!

  • i've seen her before! she pet my friend on the head as we were on the way to school

  • crazy and out of control, how'd you ever survive in that mental hospital on rails?

  • "crazy LA subway" "Puts chicago to shame" Have you people ever been to NY? LOL, this looks normal compared to the nonsense in the Big Apple!

  • Has anyone seen any videos of this dude who rides the redline. He's either retarded or has autisim or something. He just stands by the door usually and screams at the driver whenever he gets on or off. I want to show my friends this dude so bad!!

  • That lady always talks to me at union station. FUCK!!

  • lumi lumi lumi!

  • Not "crazy," it has CHARACTER. Most big city subway systems have that with its ridership.

  • thats the same crackhead woman who caused a brawl on the train!

    watch?v=cnaOt3ITZXI

  • This lady was on my train this morning, chanting, yelling, and condemning Red Line patrons on behalf of Jesus Christ...

  • i see this lady almost every other week... fml...

  • @MelissaLara101 haha same here :) shes always on the red line. shes a legend!

  • Those cloth covered seats would be covered in piss and vomit if this was the NYC subway.

  • ugh i hate that lady in the pink jacket. So fucking annoying.

One time she went into one of her religous rants after some guy in a rocker shirt walked past her.

  • Always take the Red Line for the craziest peeps.

  • Gosh, how I love this vid! I've been in LA for 2 weeks and every single time i rode the subway there were freaking crazy people there doing the weirdest things i've ever seen in my whole life... seriously... :S it was funny and frightening at the same time xDD

  • god i love LA :D when i was on the blue line to south central LA on july 4th there was a woman dressed like a black angel and she looked crazy well that is LA like i know it

  • god i love LA :D when i was on the blue line to south central LA on july 4th there was a woman dressed like a black angel and she looked crazy well that is LA like i know it

  • omg that lady's always preaching, annoying as fuck

  • @Oilblood87

That reminds me of this guy who I always see on the train when I go to school every morning. He's always trying to sell stuff and saying "Cigars, lighters, barrettes, etc." There's also another guy who comes on the CTA buses and is literally a walking preacher, always talking about Jesus and crap.

  • cant wait for them to extend the wilshire shuttle aka purple line to ucla or santa monica. also the beverly hills/WeHo connector(pink line) and extensions of the red line to burbank, sylmar , el monte or even santa clarita would be so awesome!

  • too bad the subway car doesn't have a final destination of a human incinerator.

  • That's why I could never live in Los Angeles, California no mames pinche jente loca!! Last time I was in Holywood and there was a manarguing, fighting, and actually punching a stop sign. Plus I like guns, you can't own shit in L.A. -TX

  • @Faztlan you know how big this city is and how many people lives here in cali . uh duuuhhh

  • HOLY SHIT i just watched the whole video,,,,, the chick in the pink rode that shit alllll the time.

  • @skripts1 - I live in D.C. and take our metro daily. In 15 years I have never seen this kind of bizarre crap. What is it with L.A. ? I have taken the "red line" ( hey, there is only one heavy rail line in L.A. why isn't it just called 'the subway'?). The people were pretty rowdy. Despite the occasional problem ( last year's wreck on OUR red line), I'll take our system any day. But then, D.C. is urban. It's a real city. L.A. seems to be nothing but a big sprawl - strip mall after strip mall. Ugh.

  • @dsindc No, there's actually three, but only 2 serve downtown.

  • @ajavier2013 No.... that's wrong. The issue deals with HEAVY RAIL. L.A. has other LIGHT rail lines. It has one HEAVY rail line, with a small extension a "second" line with a grand total of TWO stops on its "purple line" on Wilshire. This is hardly a real Heavy Rail system, or Metro as it's usually known as. It's too late, L.A. will never be a real city. What you have is a heavy rail line downtown, and a couple of light rail lines. I feel sorry for L.A. What will you do with $5 -6 a gallon gas?

  • @dsindc Point taken, but we're rapidly expanding the lines. What's wrond with light rail, anyway?

  • @ajavier2013 The problem with light rail is that it is not grade separated. It crosses streets for instance. That being the case, light rail trains normally are much slower. Next, light rail trains are much smaller and passenger capacity is much less. We have up to 8 car trains. That size train will carry easily 1000 people. The Metro now moves around 775,000 people a day. All of LA's light rail lines carry about 150,000 a day. It just doesn't compare.

  • @ajavier2013 LA has been built for cars. For heavy rail, you need population density in general, but a very dense population and business center. LA doesn't have a large downtown, especially when you consider the population of the city, and the greater LA area. So, the question becomes.... where do you run the lines? LA had no real center... it has dozens. Light rail may help some, but if gasoline prices go up... and they will, LA will have huge problems.

  • @dsindc Los Angeles does have a large downtown city center. At almost 13 square miles Los Angeles's downtown is bigger than most downtowns. The Wilshire corridor on the Westside and the MacArthur Park district are among the most densly populated areas anywhere in the country according to a USC study back in the late 80's.

  • @denny906 Nope. This the ranking according to "Metropolitan Institute at Virginia Tech". New York (374,345,143 sq. ft.) 2. Chicago (134,533,476 sq. ft.) 3. Washington, DC (81,285,863 sq. ft.) 4. Boston (78,094,079 sq. ft.) 5. San Francisco (68,449,408 sq. ft.) 6. Philadelphia (53,612,971 sq. ft.) 7. Los Angeles (50,838,105 sq. ft.) 8. Dallas (37,204,314 sq. ft.) 9. Houston (37,192,663 sq. ft.) 10. Denver (26,509,449 sq. ft.) **Downtown D.C. is almost half again the size of L.A.
  • @dsindc Los Angeles has two heavy rail lines, the Purple line along Wilshire and the Red line that goes to Hollywood and the Valley. The Purple line funding was approved by the Los Angeles MTA for extension to West Los Angeles.

  • yo i used to play "is that a man or a woman" almost everyday on the metro red line

  • she tried talking to me a second time and she asked if i spoke english and i started speaking what little german i know

  • holy fuck! ive seen her before! she pet my friend on the head

  • CRAZY BIBLE BITCH lol i used to see her all the time when i used to take the bus, i used to wear a anti cross and she just went ape shit

  • holy crap, this lady gave me a sandwich while wanting for the red line last month

  • I ride the los angeles metro trains sort of simi-irregularly. I to have encounter all types of people. Some are very nice some not so nice . Its always entertaining and certanly always an adventure.

  • Yeah, this is really nothing =)

You better watch videos about russian subway, people there are really crazy and funny =)

  • I've seen many a crazy person around these parts. This is nothing new to me, seeing as how I travel throughout Los Angeles County along the Metro. Long as they don't try anything, you're cool.

  • Im from NY myself..this is nothing new for me lol

  • This is nothing. You wanna see something really wacky check out the soulja girl video on the Atlanta MARTA subway line. That chick is completely off the chain. ATL is bonkers.

  • OMG I have come across that same f...ing women like 3 times now...she tries always to talk to me but I NEVER EVER acknowledge her presence .... one time she totally crossed the line when a lady had her deaf child and this ridiculous women told the lady that it was the mothers fault that the kid was deaf.....so sad

  • I've seen her too many times. She sat next to me once. It's funny if anyone tells her to go STFU, she goes nuttiers and starts cussing them out and hexing them.

  • lol

try the boston orange line near forest hills at night you get similar characters

  • cool

  • what lives underground..........

  • After only 4 hours of sleep a nite, at the mission, this is the spot where we can get some decent sleep. So please try and respect that.

  • im indifferent to sleeping people on the subway if it doesnt effect. However, if there were no seats avlb and someone was taking up four like that I would be pissed. I work my ass off so I can pay rent every month so I have a bed to sleep in - so ill be damned if I'm going to stand after paying for a ticket for a person who doesnt work.

  • dont you own LA anyways. evict them.

  • i dont own LA but I rented space on that subway and if its for my ass if theres a seat avlb. I'm not prejudice to homeless people. I made a dude who had all his shopping bags on a seat move them awhile ago because we paid the same so why does he get two seats and i get none when I've worked on my feet all day. Ya you know that thing WORK!??

  • my point being - i dont care if people sleep but I'm not going to "respect" that.

  • I'm referring to the poor old lady.

  • Besides, there is only one temp service Downtown, where you can get maybe 25 buks a day, and all the hotels are booked with that SRO scam.

  • Yea that black guy talking to himself, has got a huge mob of homies. You have never ever seen a man tuck in his sheets so crisp and unwrinkled, a military fashion such as him. he puts guys a boot camp to shame.

  • That Black Guy talking to himself, is a buddy of mine. He gets really cranky, when he dosen't get any sleep at the mission. So try not to wake him.

  • This is nothing compared to the NY subway. What happens in NY is so much louder, more obnoxious, and yet literally nobody even turns or acts like there's anything out of the ordinary.

  • california got some fuckin characters

  • I know. It was worse in fuckin' Frisco.

  • haha ya iv' been there.. never went into the subways though lol

  • Be glad you haven't been in the Frisco subway. I saw two guys kissing on the lips. It happens frequently out there.

  • lol

  • oh shit i thought the black guy was the crazy one until the women started to clap!!

  • That's nothin. I have seen far worse using the Metro. haha

  • hell,i didnt even know l.a. had a subway system.the public transportation in l.a. still suck, you gotta wait a hour for the bus to come.what kinda shit is that?kinda remind me of houston, texas.thats the largest city in the u.s. (land area wise)and they dont even have a heavy rail train system.

  • But it had the best bus transit system (along with Vegas' bus system) when I was down in Texas 13 years ago.

  • haha and I thought the ppl on the Toronto subway were crazzyyy!!!

  • Rather "colorful" people on the red line. Hell, I thought the Green Line was bad.

  • WOW IM FROM BROOKLYN NEW YORK NICE VID.

  • so..like..uh..i got a DUI, and now i gotta take this crap to school now

  • that girl sitting to the left of the camera guy looks delicious.

  • perv

  • oh,I know she(pink jacket).I went LA lastweek. I met she in subway. she was said "I'm español" to everybody.

  • Oh & I thought NYC's subway was bad. Jeez, the arrangement of the seats don't allow for dancing or any other sort of entertainment. Oh well, the NYC subway's probably way too over crowded, for any sort of entertainment.

  • i rode the blue line on new years day around 5 in the morning and whoa it it smell bad there ws vomit on the floor and homeless people sleeping inside

  • All metros worldwide have their own "strange people". LA looks a nice subway.

  • I moved to Frisco 3 years ago and one day I was riding the BART when I smelled a bad odor. In the back of the nearly empty car in the last seat was was a dirty looking unshaven bum sleeping and I knew that was the source of the foul smell that stunk up the entire car. After that bad experience I went back to driving my car.

  • i was in chicago summer july 2007 i took the L from ohare to downtown on blueline it was scary riding in empty cars only some, bagladies and a crackhead and two black strange gay guys ,dont take the train at night when youre alone regards johnnyb sweden.

  • There's no reason to be afraid, dude. All you need to do is keep your wits about you. I've lived in Chicago for almost 40 years, and I've only had one incident that could be called serious on the "L," and that was over 20 years ago. Admittedly you probably don't have those kind of issues in Sweden, but there's nothing wrong with the CTA apart from it being slow, old and expensive.

  • Well, that's an example of being very diverse... in a unique way.

  • i have seen this crazy bitch several times

  • she is crazy...she is saying complete jargon, and in translation saying that Jesus will save us all, he is our salvation.

  • I once had a bum get on the train in toronto and cockroahces were crawling off of him and on the se4ats and floor.

    I sure did jump!lol

  • go to San Francisco...

  • i have seen that lady before on several occasions on the red and blue line.

  • u should see the shit that happens in toronto's subway

  • lol i second that, makes me want to push the passenger safety strip...
