@fairyheli2 It is a glow ignition engine, running glow fuel, which typically consists of 10-15% nitromethane, 18% oil, and the rest is methanol alcohol.

Hi, i got both engines. Saito and OS. The Problem of Saito ist, they are running very hard. But a little bit more power. And cheaper. if i have a model with 2 engines, i will always use OS. More reliable.
Good vid..I have to do the same with my os fs 120III...I stripped the back part of the spinner backplate when breaking in, what should i do to keep prop from spinning, could i just tighten the prop nut very very tight?
how many c.c.'s?

@rcsportflyer Oh, so kind of like diesel fuel except one ingredient, and that's nitromethane.

can you tell me how many lbs of thrust this motor can produce?

@MRJKYT With a Master Airscrew 18X8 Classic composite prop, it produced 16.6 lb thrust at 7,550 RPM.

"Glow" is for glow-ignition, which requires a 1.2-1.5 volt battery to heat the plug for starting.
dynomike11 1 year ago
What does "glow" mean on a r/c engine? Do you have to use an electric glow plug or heat the intake/carb to start it?

There used to be an R/C airfield by my house. I don't fly them but I am sad that it was dismantled because I thought the little planes were so cool.

This is a cool video, but i'm not a fan of the new O.S. 4-strokes, i like the old O.S. 4-strokes.
