Officers from ethnic minority backgrounds may face more scrutiny by those demonstrating. (1) Some believe that more people from ethnic minority backgrounds need to join the police force to combat its 'Institutional Racism' (2) I know first hand that friends from such background who enter the police force experience racism & difficulty getting promotions (3) Some in the police force may think they can work to change the force from the inside out.

the police is unfair, but the bastards arent changing anything, the only thing to do is to join the police force and make a different, we need more people from our black/asian backgrounds from poor backgrounds to make a difference.. i would like to work with young vulnerable kids in high poverty areas to make a difference.. fuck the current policing system, unjust and unfair
