I LOVED seeing Gizmo working! I have a service Corgi too who is training to do the SAME THINGS Gizmo does! He is AMAZING and I hope, one day, my Bean is as good as he is! Putting a video on You Tube of Gizmo helps people understand that Service Dogs come in ALL shapes and sizes! They don't ALWAYS have to be Labs or Goldens! Thank you and Gizmo for sharing a day in your life with us!

I have a 3 pound poodle chihuahua mix service dog (in training). He's pretty good with everything I need him for, and we also have lots of fun together. I'm still working on dropping stuff and then having him pick it up. That's a bit of a challenge, any tips?

My service dog can do a lot of things too he's a 4 year old yellow lab. That I received in Nov 2007 in Swanton Ohio. I have CP and a visionual impairment too.

Lisa, I drop in to see this video every few months and I am glad to see you liked Gizmo. I know Roni would love to play with Gizmo and she is getting to tolerate the playing because Alexis plays and tugs and kisses her every time she is here.

Nice to see a smaller dog work, I have a beagle SDit and it has been hard because so many people have the idea of the large breeds mostly labs. My comment is always well he makes up for his size :) Great video ! God bless you.

Gizmo is wonderful as are the all other service dogs. I'm disabled and have a 20 months old GS. I'm looking for training tips eg. how to teach her to pick things up. Any tips?

It helps if you employ a trainer when a dog is large and young. I found Teamwork I and II to be very helpful. All teaching for Gizmo was done through positive reinforcement only. Thanks for your comments
