He was good. But this is a serious beat. I kickboxed and boxed for years, I know the game and he got seriously outboxed and out kicked here. Many people don't take high of Roufus cause he didn't do well in K1. But Roufus was a superb fighter. He had fine movement and very sharp timing, he as an artist. Only problem was, because he wasn't used to take leggkicks and he had a bad stance for lowkicks, he took them behinde on his legg. The result was all his skill got taken away in a k1 bout.

In my experience, most of the leg's endurance comes from general strength training, and a mental aspect. There's not really some special excersize you can do to make your leg withstand lowkicks better.
I'm just a bit allergic to things that reek of nationalism, seeing as there's so much nonsense, racism and so on under many youtube fighting videos. The sport can do without it.

Also, other, similar sayings are partly true, like born fighters... You can do eversion & inversion resistance maneuvers, in the sand, for resistance, n some other stabilizing exercises, to strengthen cart/tendon/ligament structures in knee area. Drilling of planting foot, rotations, & timing aspects help. U have a point.; wears one down.

Kaman: 97 wins, mostly in the tough European and Dutch kickboxing circuit under kickboxing rules.
Piotrowski: 42 wins, almost exclusively in the much easier American full contact karate circuit under the old WAKO rules.
It's not surprising Kaman destroyed him decisevely.
