I can not dscribe what I felt when i listened to this song the first time.. in fact it was the first one I listened from the album after "get on your boots". I have a band of my own and this song made me feel so small next to my songs and at the same it gave me the strengh to improve myself on my songwriting. AWESOME song Bono... I bet Michael Stipe (R.E.M.) would be so jealous of this one too like he was with "Beautiful day"... we should ask him... hahaha
I don´t think you get what he tried to say... I think he's so proud of that particular song that he thanked God for giving him the inspiration to come up with it. I have a band of my own and as a songwriter there are some moments in life when a song just comes out of nowhere to be composed by individual ones. You have to be on our shoes to really understand what this is about.
As much as I loved 40 as their closer, with the entire crowd sometimes singing the refrain long after the lights went up, even while they were walking to their cars, the ZooTV tour closing might be my favorite.
After almost 3 hours of the digital onslaught that was ZooTV, for U2 to travel back to the beginning of rock and roll, closing with an Elvis song--just guitar and vocals--that's just brilliant. Gives me the chills just thinking about it.
"Love is Blindness" is a great one. I saw them on the ZooTv tour and they didnt even sing it that night. I was disappointed. "Grace" would have been another great closer. They wont release Moment of Surrender as a single. Even if they did, radio wouldnt play it.

Are those the Barcelona angels after about 4 1/2 minutes? It's after Edges piano solo. It matches up with the photo on twitter. Really fantastic.

I wish Bono would talk less but outside of that U2 really delivered the goods. Awesome album and the tour looks great.

Not bad but "40" and "All I Want Is You" were both better closers.

"Love is blindness" is their best closer IMO..."Surrender" is going to be huge, once it is released as the next single.
