Excellent! Good editing, wonderful selection of scenes and mostly the icons and on-screen display were off. That contributes a lot to the great apperance of this video. I like this a lot even though I missed hearing the game sounds.

i have il-2 1946 (full) and i did try to play online but it says when i want a join a server Il-2 Fb not installed ( it meens forgottenbattles) but i have it already in il-2 1946 right? ore can some one help me to solve this problem?

yes, is the 1946 version, check you Hyperlobby program...and 4.08 version. Also you can accede route IP, enter to the game go away for the option multiplayer and write the IP of the server, in the web pages they appear, for example the room of spits vs 109 is 69.90.34.220:21010 . I've been watching alot of il 2 movies on youTube (most quite good) for I want to try one also. European Air War offered 2 views not available to (il2 series?) my '46 game. I forgot what EAW called them but one was a front on fly by w/out the pan. The other was a type of 'fly your plane off in the distance' view. This was especially effective in battle to check your own six. Both these views would work well in movie creativity as well. But seeing how they dont exist here, I'll have to make do.

Nice flying. I just picked up Il 2 '46. Some of my planes (109 included) have the gunsight crosshairs out of alignment with gunsight itself. This is when I'm in cockpit mode. How do I correct this? The gunsight game controls do nothing. European Air War seemed to have a superior game control setup.

Du kannst das Wappen auf deinem Flugzeug ändern wenn du im Flugzeug menü eine Staffel auswählst z.B. I./JG53 oder I./JG300 - funktioniert aber nicht im Singleplayermodus.

I had Forgotten Battles a couple years ago and had fun playing Single player with it; never ventured into online fights as I suck at flying in the game. How active is MP for 1946? And is it any good?

ich wüsste mal ganz gerne wie man ohne die icons klarkommt. ich für meinen teil kann dann bis auf mittlere entfernung nicht mehr unterscheiden ob es sich um freund oder feind handelt. wie macht ihr das?

Deutsche Flugzeuge haben immer eckige Flügelspitzen wenn sie noch weit entfernt sind. Britische und russische Flugzeuge immer runde. Ansonsten macht das die Erfahrung, du kannst die Icons auch manuell ausschalten, das würde ich dir auch raten, sonst "sucht" man schnell nur nach der richtigen Schriftfarbe und nicht nach einem Kontakt.

ja aber selbst wenn ich die grafik hochschraube komme ich nie an den realismusgrad der wirklichkeit heran. wenn ich auffm erboden stehe kann ich noch erkennen um welches flugzeugmuster es sich in 8 km höhe handelt. bei il2 1946 wär das undenkbar.

The latest best Best WWII Online Air Combat game is IL2-1946 - but thats only my meaning. For Modern Air Combat take a look at "Lock On Modern Air Combat" (Mig29, F15...)

They "only" insert a few Planes from 1946, 2 new Me262, different Mig, Lagg and LA with turbine or hybrid engines.
