those tyranids have potential to lay the beat down. That is if matt can tactically bring in those reserves. I think those carnifexes are really gana bring a lot of butt whooping if they can get in :)

It sucks that he's playing with old Necrons. The warriors get creamed now even more. I'm only taking one squad of warriors to camp on the nearest objective, while 1 or 2 squads of Immortals take on the objectives closest to the enemy. Anrakyr will upgrade one of those squads to Pyrrhian Eternals and I'll attach a Phaeron w/ res orb to the Gauss Immortals. Other Immortal squad takes Teslas. Anrakyr arrives through Monolith with shield Lychguard retinue. Nightscythe transports for Immortals.

@firedragon10 No, it is not. They removed the model. They have the Lychguard as it's replacement basically: An elite unit with war scythes or Dispersion Shields and a Power Weapon. The Shield gives them a +4 invul save and if they save a ranged atk this way they can re-direct it to an enemy unit within 6".

Probably the most entertaining thing in these batreps is watching the dice numbers slowly go down until about one thing dies. :L

@Gingrnut I disagree I find watching the battle evolve and develop not only helps me understand the game better also helps me understand all the different armies. So I find them to be just as helpful as entertaining for me :)
